'Ein Stern ist selbst zu viel!!! Achtung - Betrug!!! Das Boot was angeboten wird gibt es zwar aber wird ausschließlich bei booking angeboten. Wir standen vor nichts in Zaandam und mussten erst da hin fahren von Expedia aus bis wir Ersatz bekommen haben. Da hatten wir bereits 25,-€ Bahngeld bezahlt, was Expedia nicht interessiert hat. Wir hatten einen Tag vorher gelesen das es an dem Standort nicht existiert und am Anreisetag sofort Expedia kontaktiert. Die Kommunikation hat gut geklappt, nur...

'The houseboat was conveniently located with great access to all public transport. Han was helpful and very knowledgeable, and we had a great time on the houseboat! The stairs and ladder would be tough for very small children or anyone with mobility issues - my 4 and 6 year olds were delighted and had a wonderful time. '

'Unser Aufenthalt war gut, wir haben uns auf dem Hausboot wohlgefühlt. Betten waren bequem. Leider konnten wir die Sauna nicht benutzen, da die Tür kaputt war und damit nicht richtig geschlossen werden konnte. Für das Geld erwarte ich, dass alles ganz ist. Ansonsten war alles unkompliziert. Unser zugewiesener Host war freundlich und unkompliziert.'

'Casey is een superhost die je snel op je gemak stelt en wegwijs maakt op de boot en in de buurt. Ik heb heerlijk geslapen, al moet je wel tegen wat gewiebel kunnen op de boot. Een bootje is geen luxe hotel, het lijkt wat meer op kamperen, maar alles wat ik nodig had, was er. En meer dan dat: uitzicht over het water en direct kunnen lopen over de dijk zijn goud waard. De supermarkt is dichtbij en heeft heerlijk eten. En je bent zo in Amsterdam voor museumbezoek. Kortom, ik heb genoten.'

'Casper is a helpful host/owner. He had a great list of recommendations and showed us around the property when we arrived. The studio was nice and a great location to the train station. With a Vrbo, I expect to rent the whole place, just be aware that you’ll have a neighbor that you share a front door with and that the owner has an adjoining door they stays locked. I never felt unsafe but didn’t feel like this was spelled out on the description. The original listing mentioned a hot tub twice,...

'Es war ein stürmischer Aufenthalt über den Jahreswechsel und den einzigen Kampf, den wir zu kämpfen hatten, war der mit der Klimaanlage, die uns den Aufenthalt angenehmer machen sollte - lag aber bestimmt an uns. Die Böllerei anderer „Festland“-Gäste auf dem Steg - dem einzigen Weg vom Hausboot weg - war nicht gut, denn im schlimmsten Fall hätten wir nicht weggekonnt. Ein Hausboot zu mieten, war trotzdem eine gute Idee, gerne wieder!'

'We loved our stay on Jesse's houseboat. The accommodation is very comfortable (although probably best suited to taller people, since all surfaces are rather high) and Jesse is very responsive. The location is absolutely perfect with lots of shops, bars and restaurants close by. The Central Station and many major attractions are within walking distance. Sitting on the houseboat and watching boats and the world go by is a very special experience. '
