'Nidia, and the property, continue to be a favorite of mine. The location is perfect (easily accessible to DC), and a fabulous apartment all around. Spotlessly clean, well appointed, and beautiful grounds to enjoy. Nidia is a perfect host, ensuring that we had everything we needed, and checking in to ensure that our stay was perfect. For those who want a space close to DC that includes an incredibly peaceful environment, this is your spot!'

'The host was extremely gracious and made my mom dinner while we were out of town in New York for a couple of days during our stay. I had made other arrangements for her while we were away since my mom does not drive but the host went above and beyond. The walking trails around the property were wonderful, we walked 3 miles pretty much every morning that we were there around the wooded trails. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio with the view of the pond behind the house.'

'All went well, check in was easy and space was clean and cozy. Great communication with the owner. Loved that our 18 year old had his own space at night with the extra room. Nice big and fully stocked kitchen since we cook all our own meals. The living room space was comfortable for all of us to just hang out. The view with the large windows was pretty and relaxing. Great find!!!'

Check in was fine and the ability to leave our luggage in the post room the day of departure was very much appreciated. 'South Alex is an AMAZING complex. Beautiful with plenty of shops and foon nearby with Walmart right across the street and Aldi on the first floor as soon as you get off the elevator. National Harbor is right across the bridge about 6-7 minutes and downtown DC is about a 20 minute drive with traffic. The apartment was very clean and smelled amazing. Plenty of closet space with a full size washer and dryer. Ice maker on the fridge, nice view from the balcony and private parking available was also...
