'Fabulous refurb, stayed here about 12 years ago the transformation is absolutely lovely! Stayed in a standard room, which is on the small size but beautifully decorated with everything you need. Particularly liked the L'Occitane toiletries in the stylish bathrooms. The restaurant and casual areas are very stylish, the food, atmosphere and staff were great, and Aberlady is just an adorable quiet location on the doorstep of 22 golf courses, beaches and fabulous walks. 'We had a small issue with the self check in as the gate number provided in the email didn't work. I managed to ring the hosts and after a few minutes it was sorted and we were able to gain access. The lodge was very comfortable, nicely decorated and well equipped for a self catering stay. Everything you needed to cook a meal including a microwave oven a fridge and a kettle. I loved the 4 highland cows in the field just outside the lodge, this was partly my reason for booking this accommodation. '

The whole experience was relaxing with amazing views over the golf course and the sea beyond. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable, slept like a log. The food in the restaurant was good value, cooked fresh and was well presented - delicious. '

'Lovely relaxing stay in the hotel with family. We were staying due to a family wedding in Anstruther. The staff were very welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay special, especially Carragh (sorry if that’s the wrong spelling) and Clare.
