'Unfortunately the fire alarm went off.We were in a handicap room. They did not have a plan. Security was to assist it but there was no security at that time of day.They were nonchalant since they knew there was no fire. Guest s did not know that and there is no PA system.If there was a fire it could have been disastrous. Hotel is fine and respects the era. '

'Possibly the freshest-smelling, comfiest bed I've slept in. We enjoyed three nights here on spring break. The breakfast & happy hour deliveries were the cherry on top! So nice to return to after exploring the city or the beach (5-10 min away). The staff were so accommodating to us. Our trip coincided with a cold snap — so the comfy couches & lounge areas upstairs on the deck were just the place. Hope to return!'

'This was a strange hotel experience. The staff was not at all welcoming or hospitable. When we arrived we were clearly struggling with a luggage cart with a broke wheel and nobody offered to help us. When checking in, many details were left out, like putting our key in the power bank in the room so we could use all the lights and outlets. The sink was filthy and had no hot water.
