NIEUW! Cape Keeper's Cottage - Vuurtorenpark

Charmant en eclectisch huisje uit 1920 in Lighthouse Park, prachtig gerestaureerd met moderne voorzieningen. Minuten naar het centrum en de stranden! Dit gezellige huis beschikt over 2 slaapkamers, een complete badkamer, een buitendouche en een volledig uitgeruste keuken. Prachtige buitenruimtes en op loopafstand van restaurants, bars, parken en meer.

Het huisje is zorgvuldig gerestaureerd met moderne voorzieningen, met behoud van veel van de eeuwenoude charme. U vindt on-demand warm water in de grote inloopdouche binnen, evenals de buitendouche om af te spoelen na een dag op het strand. High speed internet en Netflix zijn bedoeld om te ontspannen na een lange dag van het verkennen van de stad.

Het huisje ligt hoog op Magnolia Drive, op wat ooit een zandduin was maar nu een met bomen omzoomde straat is met prachtig gebladerte en unieke architectuur. Lighthouse Park is een historische wijk aan de voet van de St. Augustine Lighthouse en Maritime Museum, gelegen tegenover de Bridge of Lions op het eiland Anastasia. Het is ideaal gelegen tussen de historische binnenstad en de stranden. Er is een kajaklancering aan het einde van de straat die gemakkelijke toegang biedt tot Salt Run, een estuarium met toegang tot de Intracoastal Waterway.

The Cape Keepers Cottage was the perfect place to stay during our visit to St. Augustine. It had everything we could have asked for. The quaint decor and warm cozy vibes was exactly what we needed. We loved St. Augustine and would definitely stay at the cottage again!

Nice property in a great location

House was comfortable and very clean. We liked the location which was close to the lighthouse, alligator park, sort drive to Saint Augustine beach and the town of Saint Augustine. On our next trip to Saint Augustine, we will defiantly check to see if this house is available.

House has been updated but still has the character of an old friend. Super nice layout, every space has a purpose. Every amenity was available, really nice kitchen and living space, the back deck area was well used. I’ll be looking for this house again when I visit St. Augustine.

Delightful Cottage in Quiet Neighborhood

My husband, 91 year old mother-in-law, and I stayed in the Cape Keepers Cottage for five nights. We loved it. It has everything we needed. We loved the location.....so close to our favorite Anastasia State Park and the St Augustine Lighthouse. We let my mother-in-law sleep in the main front bedroom; my husband and I slept in the cute 1 BR/1 Bath unit behind the main cottage. We loved the front screen porch and often sat there in the afternoon. The owner Danny was easy to communicate with. We spent most of our days "playing tourist" with my mother-in-law. My husband and I enjoyed walking in the quiet neighborhood in the afternoons. We look forward to staying in the Cape Keepers Cottage in the future. Perfect During the day,

The property was described accurately. We discussed and resolved small issue with the property owner that will aid in their improvement for future guests. We had 4 Adults and chose to use the separate location for sleeping quarters. It brought privacy and was for the most part very comfortable. Beds could really using a mattress pad as they are very firm. We were able to enjoy the outdoor seating. Although the location is in a rea that appears maybe ?? to be rebuilding... we were able to walk to the lighthouse entrance. The location provided easy access to the main highway back to downtown St Augustine.

Two Week Escape for Two Coloradans

Our party of two spent two weeks in the Cape Keepers Cottage and had a great time doing things in St Augustine and taking neighborhood walks. The home was beautifully decorated exactly as the photos showed and the hosts were super attentive, responsive and helpful. The location was great to have a little separation from the busy town and easy to take bike rides into Anastasia State Park, neighborhoods north and south, and even over the Bridge of Lions into the middle of things. We would recommend it.

Amazing Cottage Near Lighthouse!

Super responsive and gracious host...thank you, Daniel! This is one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed in. While the online photos were beautiful, the the actual experience exceeded our expectations! Such amazing craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the property. The kitchen was well stocked/organized so it was a pleasure cooking. A peaceful walking neighborhood and of course we visited the lighthouse...an easy 30-40 minute walk to town. A great choice!
