'The room was clean. I had to plug everything in when I arrived. I was so excited to go sit in the hot tub after my long trip only to discover it hadn’t worked in over 2 years! Very disappointing so if that is a must for you, don’t book this hotel. The free breakfast was a bunch of cereal that looked a couple months old the usual waffle maker and packaged pastries. Very unappetizing. Overall, it was quiet and I never saw any staff after check in.'

'The staff is awesome, from the front desk to the shuttle driver. The bathrooms are beautiful and the rooms spacious. The towels are soft and the complimentary bottled water is a very nice touch. I would definitely recommend this hotel.'

'The staff is very friendly and helpful! The rooms. Was VERY clean, the cleanest I've seen in quite a while!! Breakfast was good - waffles, cereal, toast, oatmeal, fruit, boiled eggs, yogurt, mini muffins, coffee machine with several choices, orange juice and apple juice. I wish the bed had been more comfortable. They do have a pool but we didn't use it.'

'The place was OK. It was clean, except for the breakfast area that needed an attendant to clean tables. I recommend breakfast at an alternative location. Front desk attendant could use a smile. The property was clean, and the bed was comfortable.'

'The cinnamon rolls were not soft. The toilets in 2 of our 3 rooms didn't flush and had to have the stopper pulled after each use. One coffee machine was out of order. Otherwise, nice stay and great location for our activities. They also deactivated our key cards early before checkout which caused one party to get locked out of their room.'

'I was in Hastings to participate in the Run for the Roses 5k and my wife and I stayed at the Confluence. It was all that I had hoped it would be when I booked my stay. The hotel itself was amazing, situated right on the banks of the Mississippi River. The room was fantastic as was the staff. It's close to parks, restaurants and bars all within a few minutes walk. Will DEFINITELY book this hotel when we're in Hastings again'
