'Attractive and well equipped apartment'

'We enjoyed this charming little cottage in the center of historical Rye. It was clean, good wifi (important for the kids) and the host reacted fast on my questions. My only remarks, with 4 people an extra comfortable chair would be welcome and we prefer a larger double bed. The short term parking in front of the cottage is convenient to drop off your luggage, there are many longer term car parks only a couple of minutes away. 'We had a great stay and really enjoyed the tennis court and the main living space at Hollyoak Sanctuary. The weather didnt cooperate so we didnt use the outside space as much as we wanted to but it was fabulous and would be great in better weather. 'We spent 3 nights in this lovely cottage within the country Park, the cottage is incredibly well equipped in the kitchen , the views are amazing, all the way along the coast, Pett levels, Rye, Camber sands, Dungeness and in one particularly clear night France! Karen responded to queries immediately and was an excellent host. I certainly recommend this cottage.'

'We spent two very pleasant weeks in this atmospheric holiday home. We immediately felt at home. It was very pleasant to talk to Janet and Grant, they were always ready with interesting suggestions tailored to our needs. We enjoyed our walks in their beautiful garden. There is much to see in the area, especially for those who enjoy gardens and historic buildings, but there are also plenty of quiet and easy walks that almost literally start from their garden. 'De cottage ligt heel landelijk, waarbij je in de ochtend gewekt wordt door de vogels. De schapen staan op het stukje land naast de cottage, waarop ook het theehuisje staat. Hierin kan je op een loungebed heerlijk genieten van de rust en natuur. De cottage is ook heel gezellig wanneer het wat slecht weer zou zijn, een electrisch haardje in de kamer zorgt hiervoor. 'The cottage is absolutely gorgeous, it is tiny but perfect for a couple. It has everything you need, an extremely comfortable bed and located in a peaceful lane, so a great place to relax. '

'That's what we called it - the house of the seven dwarfs. However, don't be held back by the "dwarf" part - it's not tiny! It is just extremely cosy, cute, and elegant. 'We really enjoyed our stay at Swallows Nest. The cottage is spacious, light and well equipped. We enjoyed the countryside, local walks and of course the swimming pool, the steam room and the lovely garden. Chris was very helpful making the booking and check-in very smooth. 'There are 2 sides to this review. The down sides were unfortunately the property was not clean enough. The remote controls, light switches, kitchen cupboards etc. were very dirty (all the areas where covid would be rife). I had to clean some of these myself. Also there was a cheese wrapper in the bedroom and lego on the dining chair which says to me it wasn't cleaned thoroughly. Also the tray in the microwave had crusted food on it so I had to wash that up before use. The blind in the lounge is...

'very close to the beach, just over the road, its better less stony if you walk about 10 mins to the right, about 5 min walk to reception, lodge is located in a quiet park of the park, I always take a tv as my son is socially anxious, and didnt leave the lodge at all, until we left, I felt it would of been useful to have a tv in the double room, as my son took over the only tv, with his xbox, and i got sent to my room, to watch tv, it was nice having the decking outside, could do with outdoor...

'Clean and spacious caravan. Everything we need to have a pleasant stay was available. Beds were made up when we arrived. Good wifi. For the future is a change of bed maybe a good idea, there is plenty of room for some broader and more steady bed.'

'We had a wonderful time. The flat is quirky and interesting. The terrace is amazing with fantastic views. There are lots of good restaurants and shops in st Leonard's too. Neil is a great host who let us check out later and I would highly recommend his apartment.'
