'We had a lovely couple of days here. The property is spacious, clean, and in a quiet spot with amazing views, the sea on one side and open fields on the other. Charlie, the property manager, was great and quick to respond to any enquiries. Only a 17 minute drive to Brighton city centre. Saltdean is officially my new favourite place in the south! 😀'

The house is very cosy, very clean and good equiped with good kitchen and towels etc. We really recommend it for a stay and visit brighton and seven siters, bilring gap etc'

'The property really couldn’t have been any better for our weekend celebrating my sister’s hen party. The location was perfect - central, seconds from the sea and near to all of our planned activities. The communal areas were fantastic, especially the large dining area. Bedrooms were comfortable and clean. Excellent communication with the host too, thank you!'

'comms were missed and not responded to. internet info was outdated and did not work. dated decor - grounds were tired, leaking shower tray, dated carpets and lights, no coffee machine '

'Stayed in property before and it was as excellent as ever, with a few extra bits which improved it even further. It is a great location, only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and locally there are lots of bars and restaurants. It was very clean and conformed exactly to the online specification. We given a very warm welcome by the owner/agent.'

'Wir haben hier eine gute Zeit verbracht. Das Haus bot alles, was wir brauchten, um uns selbst zu versorgen. Es war sauber und an alles gedacht. Die Informationen vom Vermieter waren verständlich und umfassend, der Kontakt war hervorragend und sehr freundlich.Unser gemietetes Volvo SUV war leider zu breit für die Garage, aber mit den bereitgelegten Visitor Permits war das Parken auf der Straße kein Problem, wir haben jeden Abend einen Parkplatz gefunden.'

'Property was very clean and tidy, with kitchen all in good working order. Hosts quick to reply to any queries, and the property/local area handbook very helpful. Games room and hot tub were great for any down time at the house, and only a 10-15 min drive down to the centre of Brighton.'

'Property was just as described, in a lovely part of the countryside, convenient to coast and interesting places like Charleston (Vanessa Bell home) and Sissinghurst (Vita Sackville-West home). '

'The house is great and in a fab location However the strong smell of cigarette smoke especially in the ground floor was overwhelming.It seems to come from the smokers outside the very very noisy pub opposite and the restaurant out the back.The property was perfect and this was the only thing to let it down'

"Located next to the beach but Very outdated, carpet in diningroom was filthy and patched up with plastic and ducktape. Seats in diningroom looked as if they were from the 2nd world war. Bed was ok Bathroom faucet was rusty and sink very small. I put my toothbrush on the Glass shelf above sink and it fell off. So everything really old and crappy. Pool was ok. TV worked (better than other hotels where we stayed. Breakfast was ok. Typical English but ok. Staff was amazing, very helpfull and nice. When you are lucky and find a parkingspot across from the hotel they provide you with a tag so you can stay all day. We stayed two nights and had a spot across from the hotel every day. "

"Dit hotel verdient geen 5 sterren. Tapijt zat vol met vlekken. De bank en muren ook. Gewoon smerig. Verder Geen airco, geen minibar, geen safe. Ontbijt was drie keer niets. Geen worst, geen kaas. Alleen vettige warme gerechten. Niets voor Europeanen. Hooguit 2 sterren. Dit hotel zal ik volgende keer overslaan. Medewerkers waren wel vriendelijk, maar verder wel een van de slechtste ervaringen die ik heb meegemaakt en ik heb heel wat hotels gezien in mijn leven. "
