'Little bit strange with lobby on 12th. Downtown in walking distance. Convention Center 20 min walk Parking not cheap, but all parking garages aren't. Expected more homeless people as the US isn't doing well on that point. Neighbourhood felt safe, '

'I messaged the hotel via the Expedia app to add my guests names to the reservation and advise they would be arriving 1 day late. They responded that this was updated on the booking. When my guests arrived the reservation had been cancelled and they refused let them stay even though they had already agreed to the updates and I had paid in full for the entire booking. My guests were without a room and the hotel staff were rude and unhelpful. Expedia, why you allow this to happen is beyond me.'

'Great staff!! Really attentive!'

'Great location with great staff'

'Lovely decor, clean and fresh rooms and extremely friendly and supportive staff. Small downside was the limited closet/storage space. And for disabled access, in the shower the soap and shampoo could have been placed a little closer to the shower itself.'

'No way to describe the horrific experience we had checking in when we arrived. Had no idea there would be no front desk or direct contact with a human.'

'Perfect location near to bars restaurants..very nice staff...only walls are thin'

'Staff and amenities were nice. Was somewhat disappointed in the bed mattress. That mattress has seen its time and should be replaced'

'We had a phenomenal time! Gabriel took care of us from beginning of the trip to the end. He was so accommodating! We had a phenomenal view of Petco Park from our room, and even got to enjoy a concert from our room during the stay. Would 100% stay here again!'

'Our first time staying here and we loved everything about it. Room was so cute and aesthetic. The bar downstairs was great and had delicious drinks. Was really looking forward to visiting their speakeasy but next time for sure! Loved how close it was to all fun things in gaslamp. Def will be back!'

'The plumbing was not very good. The breakfast was excellent. The location perfect to catch a game at Petco and restaurants.'
