'We love staying here! The history and grand decor from the past make it so fun. The bar has a European/English feel. Restaurant comes and goes depending on chef but during this stay, breakfast was delicious! I would recommend checking out its history to make it more special. Staff has always been fabulous.'

'We rode the train in from Durham, and wanted a place close enough to walk to Discovery Place! This property was absolutely perfect for the whole family to walk! Beds were comfy, and all amenities were great! '

'This is a well-presented house and the location is great. I was able to walk into Mathews for food and coffee. The host was very responsive to last-minute needs. The place was clean and well-equipped, except missing a spatula for the frying pan, which the host had sent several over right away. This is a somewhat quirky house, as many of these are, with ample closets in one room but not in the master bedroom, but we enjoyed cooking and dining with family. I recommend this place. '

Location is excellent and we enjoyed walking to restaurants and park. It’s a unique neighborhood to walk around in and the people we met there were so very friendly. A great home away from home!'
