'What an excellent property we found!
12 of us stayed for mum's 65th birthday. Welcomed to the smell of mulled wine & mince pies. Nicely decorated for Christmas throughout.
Fantastic, peaceful location. Clean and comfortable with plenty of space for everyone.
No need to take anything other than clothes, the property had everything needed.
Owners were fantastic. Great communction beforehand.
Would definitely return again.'

'The hotel is going through updating, the swimming pool was ok, the room was very dated, the bath panel was broken but all we wanted was a bed for 1 night.
When we left one if the updated rooms was open and I must say they looked beautiful.
When this hotel is finished I'm quite sure it will be of good standard.'

'This hotel bears no resemblance to the images. The restaurant is closed and the bar poorly stocked I was recommended to go out. The only food offering was Mini Cheddars.
The room's TV did not work, and it was not clean. Part used complimentary shower gel was available however.
The door handle to the room came off in my hand.
Parking was complimentary but there were no signs to indicate this so I parted with £12 before finding out.

'I booked two rooms as a last minute stay. Immediately on bookimg I had two phone calls that I missed as I was in my way to the accommodation. I then received a text message to tell me they could not accommodate my booking and to cancel. I was adviced by Expedia not to cancel as this would be against the cancellation policy - I am still trying to get a refund and will probably have to esculate the process'
