'All was good, love being on the marina.'

'The property and our stay was great - - - until check out, where we were presented with a surprise $578 bill for Taxes, Fees, and taxes on fees for a 3-day stay. They claim that since we booked thru a booking agent, Expedia, that those fees were not collected, and would not have been charged if we had booked direct. Basically, a penalty for booking thru Expedia. I had been aware of this Hotel if not for Expedia.'

'We had a fantastic stay at Hurricane Hole. The beds were comfy, the shower was surprisingly good for a houseboat, and the managers of the marina gave excellent customer service. We had nurse sharks, tarpins, jellyfish, snapper, and manatees visit us daily. This is a working marina and you are staying on a boat. There are smells and you will hear and feel the boats move, especially at night. None of that would stop us from returning, but be aware that this is not a luxury resort and that's part...
