'It was great'

'We were just swinging through on our way to San Francisco and needed a quick place to crash and I didn’t check the reviews first. The hotel was comically bad, with old grime in the windowsills and furniture that looked like it had been found in the street. Bathroom rack was broken, no soap or shampoo or coffee. The floorboards were held together with a sticky tar, and the room had been completely painted over, including the plugs and switches and parts of the door. The guy at the desk was nice...

'There were ants on me while I slept. Ants in the tub and ants on the end tables of the bed.'

'Nicely appointed rooms'

'Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, bed was nice, pillows were nice, there were coffee and snacks out very early in the morning even before the 6am breakfast so we were able to hit the road with something. We would definitely stay here again!'

'Very clean, but too heavily scented!'

'Nice and clean room. We enjoyed it a lot'
