'Great experience'

'The hotel, room, and staff were all good. The best part of this hotel was how calm and quiet our room was. We weren't the only people at the hotel, but perhaps we were the only ones on the third floor. I'm not sure, but either way I appreciated the peace and quiet. Now onto the bad part. This hotel must have previously been a smokers hotel, because the entire building reeks of tobacco smoke. You get used to it after a day or so, but if you can't acclimate to the smell then you seriously need to...

'It’s obvious the lack of competition for hotel chains is one of the reasons why this (and other properties) aren’t upgrading or even moderately maintaining their properties. While the staff were very nice, the hotel and rooms felt old, dated, threadbare and in need of renovation. Brown County is stunning … but its hotels leave a lot to be desired.'

'Did not bring towels or take trash on a regular basis for a week long stay. Also, front desk staff was always on the phone and inconvenienced when asked for something. However, room was decent and breakfast was decent as well.'

'My suite was very spacious and well designed, but I especially loved the surroundings. The grounds are beautiful and make an excellent place for a short walk. It also feels sheltered from the rest of the world--town is close, but it seems like you are far away in a pleasant little town.'

'The room was clean. Our room had the built in bunkbeds and that gave us decent privacy from our kids. But the bed rail for the top was so close to the ceiling it was a struggle to get in and out. Parking was great. Staff was wonderful. Not much else to the room. One very small tv and since the town closes down by 5:00-7:00 a tv would be nice since it was obviously a room for kids too.'

'For a basic motel, the accommodations were as expected. Clean room, very basic amenities that were adequate. No bugs which is definitely a positive! For the cost we were satisfied.'

'We stayed at the Showers Inn on June 15, 2026. We arrived late but they had a note how to access our room. The parking was adequate, always a concern at a B&B in a residential neighborhood. The room was pleasant and comfortable. In fact, we thought highly of the room accommodations. At breakfast the next morning was when our stay turned bad. We went to the main floor of the main building of the Inn. There wasn't any food to be had. Nor were there any employees to discuss the breakfast situation...

The hot tub was broken, the pool was very cold in spite of the extreme hot weather, and there both looked absolutely filthy. My shower had two conditioners and no shampoo. Everything at breakfast was labeled incorrectly. The 2 versions of pancake batter were backwards, the blueberry syrup was in the regular syrup dispenser and the glass jars listed at...

'The room was clean and maintained. The owners left a number to call for checking in, while I stood outside in the sun. The property looked rough, it had poison ivy growing out onto the parking lot.'

'We arrived on Tuesday night. The room we received had a dirty towel in the bathroom. The hotel changed our room without hesitttion. The next day we left by 9 am and came back at noon. The room hadn’t been cleaned yet.'
