'The location is awesome. Shepler’s ferry and downtown Mackinaw are less than a mile walk from the hotel, and it’s an easy walk. The state park lake shore and fort are a five minute walk. The hotel is clean, breakfast was awesome (eggs, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and other items). Our room was a king with couch, very spacious. The only negative: our room was on the top floor above I75. It was VERY noisy when certain vehicles would drive by on the highway. I wish I...

'Didn't like that we had to check in to the hotel next door for the hotel we were staying at. PLUS, it's no longer called the Fairview. It has a different name which threw us off. '

'Arrived about 5 hours early before check-in. Even with the craziness of the holiday weekend, they were able to get me checked in 3 hours earlier than anticipated. Room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Hotel was located close to downtown St. Ignace, and had quick access to the bridge. Which allowed us to beat a lot of the traffic going back south. Breakfast was great, service was great, we will definitely be back!'
