'I really liked this place, the staff was very friendly anf forthcoming and food was excellent. The beach access is easy and the beach is absolutely stunning albeit wild. It’s not a 5-star hotel in the european sense but a great space if you want a bit of privacy and peace when visiting Mamallapuram.'

'Nice location, in centre of town, very near beach, but quiet too. Friendly and good value. Nearby is Joe's Cafe for excellent coffee and hot and cold snacks freshly made. On main street nearby there is great place to get laundry done, very good quality and price. Top Star I think it is called. Also very friendly and nice tea shop next to it. Also check out Sabhra restaurant across from temple near Krishna Butter Ball for great N. Indian food at very good prices. Great town and beach, but...

'Our favorite in Mammalapuram!! We have been there several times, over the years. It´s our favorit in Mammalapuram. It is not in the main road, but nearby everything you like, including the beautiful sea and the fisher boats. We arrive normally wit the motorbike which is easy to park safty.The owner is very kind at any time, and if you need something, just ask him.'

'Hotel is a new hotel, so in a good condition. This feedback is for the owner for betterment of the business, not necessarily a criticism. Generally speaking staff is good too. However, the staff needs better training. The hotel room layout and design needs improvement, we had sewage smell in the room which was due to the exhaust - due to room insulation the exhaust would suck the air out of the drainage. 'It has been a wonderful experience staying in Meya Beach Walk hotel. The staff was courteous and caring. We did have some language issues but that never has been an issue with respect to service. Hotel is just a few steps walk away from beach and with less people coming, this almost acts like a private beach. Great stay and good food.'

'An owner-run hotel that is small enough (12 rooms) for the staff to know you and attend to you personally. Rooms may not have the most modern fittings but is big, comfortable, and clean. Has hot water for shower and wifi too. Stayed twice at this hotel recently, both wonderful experiences. Breakfast is served personally: fruit platter, juice, choice of Indian or Western toast, with coffee or tea amidst rooftop dining area with lovely view of sea. Short 200m walk to beach. 'Hotel has a private beach which is the only good thing. Location- it is very far from the main city center (15Km). Rooms- even the premium rooms are not well maintained. No amenties for the price they are charging.Rooms need renovation. Food- if you prefer north Indian food, this is isnt the place for you. room service is available only till 10:30PM. As this hotel is on ECR you wont get food nearby, need to travel atleast 10 KM to even find a Dominos. Not value for money.'
