'I was in town for a concert that my daughter was in at Duke University. I booked through Expedia. Nowhere on the hotel's website or in additional details on Expedia is it said that there will be an additional $100 fee for incidentals. I was not prepared to need that and although it caused a bit of frustration, the front desk person was great and understood my frustration. Once the payment was done, the only other complaint I had was that some of the towels were stained with coffee and the tub...

'Took 30 minutes and two requests for my ID from different staff to check in on a slow Tuesday afternoon. A staff member just said, “no” when i asked if she knew where i could get a bandaid. Overall, impression of staff was not especially competent or welcoming.'
