'Cottage was as described except the bushes in the back yard have grown so the lawn is in the shade most of the day and you can only see the small part of the lagoon shown in the photo unless you walk down to the gate that says private property (to nextdoor), from where you can see the rest of the lagoon and the toilet blocks next to the ramp that the Sea Quest bioluminescence kayakers launch from. Yard was too cool to sit out in in the evenings in mid July, as no fires allowed, but the location...

We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches—like the charming duck collection and the variety of board games—which added so much character and made our stay extra enjoyable. 'We had a wonderful stay on Orcas Island! The house had plenty of space, was stocked with everything you could need, and the views from the deck were terrific. Jason was a great host! I would recommend this house!'

'The view can’t be beat and the walk through the neighborhood hood is beautiful. It’s a little removed from town but only by 15 minutes. We were lucky enough to see some orcas on our last day. We needed to contact property manager during our stay and they were nothing but great. The owners of the house were also very kind. It is worth noting that there is some construction going on right next door. '

'I only utilized the downstairs bed and it was comfortable. I cooked most of my meals. The location, for me, was wonderful: in an old forest. Lovely! '

'Beautiful, scenic and peaceful location. We enjoyed our time on the deck, soaking in some sun, chatting with the neighbor and watching the goslings and wild bunnies. Only on suggestion would be to secure the top if the handrail and maybe add a short length at the bottom landing. We would love for a longer return stayCheers'

'My family had a great stay at West Beach resort. Cabin was great with all we need, right on the beach. It was amazing to spend evenings around fire place and to hear t waves. Very relaxing. It was nice to have convince store at resort to buy coffee or other basics. Everyone was very friendly. We loved it. '
