'The Charlie ranks at the top of the list of places in which we have stayed. I would describe our Dylan suite as cozy luxury. As soon as entered we immediately felt welcomed and at home! All rooms (bath, bedroom, living room and small kitchen) were immaculate. One of my criteria for a top-notch stay is the quality of the bed and bed linens and it passed with flying colors! 'Great West Hollywood hotel right below Sunset Blvrd. Love the spacious garden area and restaurant. Lots of creatives and artists in this celebrity hotel. Pool and some rooms are a little dated (when considering the price) but that’s made up for by the great customer service and overall vibe.'

'It was an exceptional experience! Kiki & the entire staff were super friendly & helpful.
We arrived at 10AM & they stored our luggage (no charge) while we went out for the day. Upon returning at 3pm, Kiki walked us to our room where they'd already put our bags. She explained our room key would also unlock the hotel's front door. We appreciated they kept it locked at all times; you could either ring the bell to be let in or use your key.

We were greeted with a complimentary bottle of prosecco to our room to celebrate our anniversary. The room was beautiful with an amazing view and timeless classic decor.

The overall style is a bit darkish but that's in line with the original design. The lobby is fantastic art deco styled. The absolute highlight of the hotel is the pool. The setting is very Hollywood, the cabins, the restaurants, the service. All ace.'

'We had problems on 2 consecutive days with the safe in our room which was not functioning. Had to wait some time both mornings till an engineer came to fix since all our stuff was inside. We were not compensated, which would have been a nice gesture. All receptionists were a bit grumpy and not really focussed on giving the best service possible with a smile.
Food at the bar was excellent. Overall we enjoyed SS hotel, the location was perfect.'

'Absolutely fantastic stay! The staff were incredible. Shout out to Benjamin and Benjamin at the bar as well as Aoife who made our stay memorable and entertaining. Very stylish hotel walkable to some great restaurants. Other great restaurants only a 5 minute drive away. '

"The 60's decor is what attracted me a couple of years ago when I first stayed at the Beverly Laurel hotel. In addition to that it is conveniently located near the Beverly Center and The Grove, perfect for people who enjoy walking. The front desk staff was friendly and they even recognized me from earlier trips! The only thing I missed was housekeeping every day... or maybe every other day... but there were plenty of towels and I keep a clean house and room, so I was okay otherwise. If you like excess and luxury this hotel is not for you. However, if you like the charm of yesteryear combined with modern day amenities, a huge bed and peace and quiet, this could be your next stay!"

"Old and in much need of some TLC, but it also has that charm. Crickets and other bugs and all! Just don't get the room next to the breakfast area, the coffee kettles will wake you up at 5 am!
