'It was an exceptional experience! Kiki & the entire staff were super friendly & helpful.
We arrived at 10AM & they stored our luggage (no charge) while we went out for the day. Upon returning at 3pm, Kiki walked us to our room where they'd already put our bags. She explained our room key would also unlock the hotel's front door. We appreciated they kept it locked at all times; you could either ring the bell to be let in or use your key.

'Nice boutique hotel with spacious air-conditioned rooms in a great location near the Walk of Fame. Good value for money. Parking ($16.50 p/day) is available in a private lot behind the hotel. If it's full, the staff will park your car at another hotel across the street.

'What a classic. My room was small but cosy, very nice bed and good amenities.
The overall style is a bit darkish but that's in line with the original design. The lobby is fantastic art deco styled. The absolute highlight of the hotel is the pool. The setting is very Hollywood, the cabins, the restaurants, the service. All ace.'

'Faultless people service and room, quirky but super. Compromise on location and noise, probably suit younger folk better but us 60 somethings enjoyed our stay.
We had come for a specific purpose so could not use all the lovely hospitality shown by the staff at the hotel but perhaps another time. Some really nice touches and well loved establishment.'

Communicatie zeer slecht, zou mail ontvangen voor inchecken, maar nooit ontvangen, zelf moeten bellen bij aankomst en daarna nog vam alles.moeten invullen, parkeerplek was ook niet gereserveerd, waardooe ik auto elders moest parkeren, behalve laatste nacht. (Bevestiging voor parkeerplek was dus ook nooit ontvangen).

Location was good, but when activities were happening at the Bowl, the traffic was terrible; hard for UBER to get to the hotel. Only one elevator was working the entire time we were there. A bit noisy, even with room towards the back of the property. Immediate surrounding areas not attractive. '

"Old and in much need of some TLC, but it also has that charm. Crickets and other bugs and all! Just don't get the room next to the breakfast area, the coffee kettles will wake you up at 5 am!
