'The staff were pleasant. Parking in front of the building is plus. There was no noise issue. The room smelled wet requiring to have the A/C on—thanks for the A/C. The furniture was outdated, the carpet appeared to not have been cleaned in a few years, the bathroom appeared to have had previous mold build up. I appreciated that the bathroom was big enough for ADA customers, including the safety latch and peephole. For the price this is what you get. (Not here to complain.) If your sleeping...

'We had 2 rooms, and one had a faint smoke smell, same as the entrance and lobby. We had a lot of trouble with the door keys for both rooms, as did the staff that tried to help us. The halls were very warm, and while the AC in the room worked well it made leaving the room uncomfortable, especially when we got locked out a couple of times! Breakfast was good. 'the air conditioning was FREEZING, which is a good thing in the middle of the summer, thank goodness for that. the room needed a bit more attention with a mop, because dusting alone was not enough for those floors, i dared not walk barefoot. parking was ok, however there were many trucks taking up multiple parking spots, one night one inconsiderate pickup driver parked with his trailer on 5 parking spots. the staff was nice'

'The Spark is in most ways a pretty standard corporate hotel on the west side of Cleveland. However, a few things make this property stand out, especially for dog owners. 'We rented the suite which was nice and big! I look for a couple things when booking a hotel, area obviously, comfy beds and a good shower. The beds were nice and soft, and the shower head was amazing!! Sometimes they almost spray your skin off or it barely rinses you off. This one was stellar. The hotel is next to a closed bahama breeze so it’s not overly pretty but the shopping plaza (Pinecrest) is lovely and walking distance. The kitchen social is a great place to eat.
