Mountaintop Pool Retreat: The Ideal Family Escape

Perched atop beautiful Buderim, this spacious family retreat combines relaxed indoor living with inviting outdoor spaces. Two generous living areas, a dedicated home office, and a kids' playroom provide room for everyone to spread out, while the open-plan kitchen flows to a private alfresco area and sparkling pool framed by lush greenery. Less than fifteen minutes from Mooloolaba and Maroochydore, it's an ideal base for beach days, local dining, and exploring the Sunshine Coast.



The Space:

Set across two thoughtfully designed levels, this welcoming home offers a relaxed setting for families and groups, with light-filled interiors, warm timber floors, and multiple spaces to gather or enjoy a little quiet time. Downstairs, two separate living areas provide flexibility throughout your stay. At the front of the home, a comfortable lounge with a Smart TV sits alongside the formal dining area, while a dedicated home office with a monitor, HDMI connection, Wi-Fi printer, desk, and chair makes remote work easy. Toward the rear, the spacious open-plan living area brings everyone together with generous seating, another Smart TV, air conditioning, and a dedicated kids' playroom filled with toys.



The fully equipped kitchen is designed for effortless entertaining, featuring ample bench space, a gas cooktop, oven, dishwasher, full-sized fridge, coffee machine, and breakfast bar seating. An additional dining table offers another welcoming space for shared meals before large sliding doors open onto the covered alfresco terrace. Outdoor lounges overlook the private pool, framed by tall hedges for a peaceful sense of seclusion, while the fully fenced front lawn and trampoline provide plenty of room for children to play.



Upstairs, five inviting bedrooms create comfortable retreats after a day exploring the Sunshine Coast. The primary bedroom includes a king bed, walk-in wardrobe, ceiling fan, air conditioning, and a private ensuite with a double vanity and oversized double shower. Three additional bedrooms each offer queen beds and built-in storage, with two also featuring air conditioning. A fifth bedroom is thoughtfully set up for younger guests with two single beds, a cot, and a ceiling fan. The main bathroom includes both a shower and bathtub, with a separate toilet for added convenience.



A third bathroom downstairs sits beside the laundry, which is equipped with a washing machine, dryer, sink, and outdoor clothesline, making extended stays easy and comfortable.



Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the entire home, including secure garage parking for either two small cars or one large vehicle. Additional parking is available on the driveway for one car, with free street parking as well.



The Neighborhood:

Located in the heart of the Sunshine Coast, Buderim is perfectly positioned for exploring both the coastline and hinterland. Stroll the charming village centre to discover boutique shops, welcoming cafés, and local restaurants, or visit the nearby Buderim Rainforest Walk and waterfall for a peaceful escape into nature. Maroochydore CBD, Sunshine Plaza, and the beaches of Mooloolaba are all within a ten to fifteen-minute drive, while attractions including The Wharf Mooloolaba, Australia Zoo, Kawana Shoppingworld, and Noosa Heads are all within easy reach for memorable day trips.



Getting Around:

It's ideal to have a car to get around the Sunshine Coast, if you’re wanting a break from driving the local bus does service this area should you need it. The home is 250m away from Gloucester Road where bus services are available and operate to Buderim, Sippy Downs & Maroochydore.



Other Things to Note:

*We DO NOT take schoolies bookings* *No guests under the age of 20 travelling independently, fine if accompanied by family (ie. young adults apart from a family booking is ok.)



*This home is in a residential community with neighbours in close proximity. We have quiet hours on the Sunshine Coast after 9pm. We ask that you also generally respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum generally.



*Please note to stay with us you will be required to fill out a check-in form for your stay. This is a requirement of all our guests that stay with us, access to our home will only be provided after the completion of our form.



*Electric vehicle charging: If you plan on charging your electric car while on holiday, we would appreciate it if you could first consider using the designated charging stations available at nearby shopping centres and public locations. These are great alternatives and help us manage our power usage. If you need to charge your electric car at our home, please reach out for pre-approval beforehand. Please be aware that there is an additional charge for this. We appreciate your understanding.
