Save your money and holiday. Stay elsewhere
Walk in the door and be met with the strong smell of urine. Animal or human I’m not sure. Foul. There was mold growing on the walls in the master bedroom so bad that we could not use it and keep the door shut our whole stay.
Both bathroom ceilings were leaking water all over floor our entire stay from the rain. The manager had the cleaner deliver 2 extra towels for us to lay on the floor for our 10 day stay to mop up the floor which was completely inadequate. They were wringing wet the whole time. A plumber came over the second day to take a look and advised it’s obviously old issue with water coming in from the sky lights which would happen every single time it rains so clearly they do nothing about it. The sky lights are from the 80s at best. The rain we saw was nothing outside of the normal end to a wet season that had dragged on slightly, not enough to try and pretend like it’s a new problem for them like the manager tried to claim.
The two rooms we slept in had bed bugs. Absolutely appalling. Over two weeks later and all of the infected bites on my body are only just starting to clear up after many trips to the Dr and chemist.
The house is old. Very old. The photos online look amazing compared to in person so don’t be fooled.
The dishwasher is completely broken. Not just the tablet dispenser as advised. Proper broken, yet you’re expected to clean all dishes and put them away before you leave. Therefor my stay was spent having to wash every dish before using it because they were dirty from the last people staying and then after for when we were leaving. They leave you only two tiny pouches of dishwashing detergent and two tablets for the broken dishwasher so you’ll be buying detergent too if you stay here.
I spent the whole time in this house cleaning or scratching from being eaten by bed bugs. I left this house tired from cleaning, sleeping on an uncomfortable infected bed, unwell and covered in bites.
It is a holiday I won’t forget for all of the wrong reasons. It was terrible.
The only nice thing about this house was the temperature of the filthy pool in the backyard.
Save yourself the disappointment and health problems and stay elsewhere.
Also. To top it off. There is no Netflix or any app programs. Just a normal TV without the internet connected to it. So prepare to be bored and bitten.
