'The nursery was great. The kitchen was well appointed. Did not care for the pans with removable handles. More comfortable living room seating would be nice. But overall a lovely home.'

'We loved our stay at this historic home! The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed. The owners were welcoming and ensured we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely return. One minor issue is that one of the beds listed as a queen was a double, but this minor blip did not take away from our enjoyment of the property! Thank you for your hospitality.'

'Perfect location for our large family vacation! The house was clean, exactly as listed, and very well stocked. The host was responsive and provided clear check-in and check-out instructions. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this property.'

'Very well stocked home with soaps etc. '

'Beautiful property! It fit our family’s needs perfectly. Our host was wonderful and very responsive. We couldn’t be happier with our wonderful visit to Newport News. Thank you so much!'

'This is a very comfortable clean home in a nice quiet neighborhood. It’s very close to some excellent restaurants and places of interest. We especially enjoyed the sunroom.'

'Excellent stay!'
