'Lawson is 2 min walk. Onsen is great We stayed on top floor 5th floor, lift only goes to 4th floor unfortunately, so carry up luggage 25 steps. Might need help if you struggle with heavy lifting Room is spacious. Lobby lounge comfy. Well family ran hotel. Shuttle bus runs frequently morning till 6pm. The shuttle bus at echigo station stops on the right side as you come out the sliding door of the station if you are looking for it. There is ski rental if needed. Small souvenirs...

'Hotel Futaba truly exceeded our expectations. We stayed as a family of five, and the room was incredibly spacious, more like staying in an apartment than a hotel. We were pleasantly surprised to find that both breakfast and dinner were included, which was a huge bonus and meant we didn’t have to go out searching for food after a long day of snowboarding.
