'We chose to stay at this hotel because of the wide variety of onsen baths. We had the dinner and breakfast buffet. The quality of the food was so so. The hotel room was clean and spacious. The hotel also had a lot of facilties. Would recommend this hotel.'

'Suiun was voor ons wel de kroon op ons verblijf in Japan. Wat een ontzettend fijn, zen en rustig hotel. Eten was formidabel, zowel ochtend als avondeten. De algemene Spa en Onsen waren fantastisch. Het personeel was uitmuntend. Mocht je ooit naar Japan gaan, boek deze Ryokan en ervaar de Japanse cultuur. Onze speciale dank gaat uit naar Suiun Manami. Wat een schat van een meid. Ze kon ook nog redelijk Engels. '

'The receptionists were very nice and helpful. They provided us with explanations of what we should visit and how indem (thermal bath) should be used. Everything was clean. There was a slight odor in the room coming from wooden furniture, although it wasn’t disturbing. The breakfast was great and very tasty (we could choose a Japanese or European breakfast). 'Erg prettige kamers met onder andere massage stoel en heerlijk bed. De onsen in het hotel is ook heerlijk. Had aangegeven dat mijn vriendin jarig was tijdens ons verblijf, zij heeft toen nog een kleinigheidje gekregen van het hotel. Zeker een aanrader!'

'Lovely staff and wonderfully calming property. Appreciate that it retained it's historical charm and interesting to see the Japanese and western/colonial influence. Private transportation was also provided for any short treks. Very thoughtful. '

'Locatie was goed, wat verouderd groot hotel. Eten was oké, we vonden slechts enkele gerechten lekker. Ik kreeg omdat ik geen rundvlees at 3 x speklap in mijn menu. Dit had echt anders gekund. Jammer. Pluspunten Mount Fuji goed te zien vanuit dit gebied.En je wordt opgehaald en terug gebracht treinstation. '
