'Anchor Site is a modern, nicely designed accommodation at a convenient location in Takayama.The apartment is quite large and could easily accommodate us (2 adults + 2 children). Air-conditioning and other facilities were working very well. The place was spotlessly clean and convenient. We felt very comfortable in this house. Our host was very kind and generous and clearly understands what travelers require. He made extra efforts to ensure a pleasant stay. I absolutely recommend this place...

'The building has a lot of character with panoramic views over the fields and mountains from the dining area. We also had a waterfall in front of our bedroom which was very relaxing The hosts were very flexible in adding us in for dinner as it’s a little too far from the centre to walk to restaurants etc - and the food was excellent ! We would recommend staying here without hesitation - they organised taxis, dinner, breakfast and have us a book of discount vouchers for the attractions....
