'Typical Japanese ryokan with great wellness facility. Rooms are spacious but simple and no tv. You shouldn’t mind sleeping on the floor but mattress is fine'

'We stayed at this ryokan for 3 nights and we loved it there! It is family driven and has such a lovely and local feeling. Our room was big, authentic and had a really nice onsen. We received the best breakfast every morning, it was the best we ever had. We also had dinner there 1 night, and it was such an experience. Everything tasted amazing and we loved that the ingredients was local and in season. We also got help for activities. '

'A lovely, quiet inn with spacious, clean rooms in a super convenient location near bus stations and shops. A couple of unique highlights: you swap your shoes for indoor footwear at the entrance, and they only have three family onsens (two indoor, one outdoor) on a first-come, first-served basis. You have to wait outside if the onsen is occupied by another family. Overall, a very happy and enjoyable stay!"'

'Modern minimalist ryokan style hotel. Staff and service was excellent. Food delicious but amount sometimes overwhelming. Comfort could be hugely improved- no armchairs in the room makes it difficult to relax after a huge dinner and either talk or watch the tv or admire the scenery outside the room. Onsen bath lovely and hot. Location remote but bus service is excellent. '

'Uitstekend hotel.
