De Tardis2 - enorme lommerrijke balkonbarbecue

Onlangs gerenoveerd compact 2BR appartement met geweldig binnen / buiten wonen. Airconditioners om die onmogelijk warme dagen en nachten te koelen, snelle wifi en het volledige Foxtel-pakket - Sport, films etc. Wenteltrap zou niet geschikt zijn voor gasten met beperkte mobiliteit.

Dit gebied is erg handig voor de luchthaven en het treinstation en biedt een goede toegang tot de stad en andere locaties. Bekijk mijn foto van het treinnetwerk waar ik tijden heb uitgestippeld voor de meeste belangrijke toeristische gebieden.

Dit is een rustige buitenwijk maar toch op korte loopafstand van bruisende winkels en vele restaurants. Zie mijn lokale restaurantfoto waar ik veel lokale restaurants en afhaalrestaurants in kaart heb gebracht.

Dit huis biedt een ruime woonkamer voor vier met extra comfortabele bedden en matrassen. Als er extra gasten zijn, kan een dagbed of wieg of kinderbed in de tweede slaapkamer worden geplaatst indien nodig.

Voor degenen die moeten werken, kan een bureau en bureaustoel worden ingesteld indien gevraagd.

Het openbaar vervoer is uitstekend, zodat de meeste gasten geen auto huren. Op straat parkeren meestal beschikbaar buiten of binnen een of twee huizen. Op drukke tijden kan de eigenaar de parkeergarage op verzoek delen.

Tassen kunnen voor het inchecken bij het appartement worden afgezet

Een digitaal sleutelslot kan u zonder hulp inchecken. Vroeg inchecken / laat uitchecken op afspraak mogelijk.

• Heet water. Het is een grote tank die het hele gebouw bevoorraadt, maar het staat op 'off peak' - wat betekent dat het alleen 's nachts warm wordt. Als het op is, moet je wachten tot de volgende dag. We hebben nog NOOIT warm water op - maar zorg ervoor dat je Koud Water alleen in de wasmachine gebruikt en neem een redelijke tijd onder de douche - vooral als je meer dan 3 gasten in je feest hebt.

Wendy was a wonderful hostess. She wasn’t there when we arrived, but her grandson was and he was so kind in helping us with our luggage. He also directed us to the nearest market for supplies that weren’t already on hand. Tardis two was exactly as described. It was clean and comfy and the train station was a very sore walk. We were able to go everywhere we wanted with little to no trouble. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

What an absolute gem of a place! A Home from home with literally everything you would need for a perfect break. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen (dishwasher, slow cooker, coffee machine, toastie maker, toaster, large fridge freezer etc) large washing machine with outside lines, red hot shower, lovely outside area to eat and relax, very private and quiet and to top it all off Wendy was a fantastic host. Literally a text message away, very responsive and anyways available without being intrusive. We had a perfect stay and will definitely come again as our daughter lives in Bexley. Thank you Wendy xx

Perfect for Family Holiday in Sydney

This was the perfect place for our family of 4. The kids loved playing with the games and toys, and I loved the coffee and sweet treats provided my the host. Wendy was very helpful explaining where to pick up the train to take us into downtown Sydney and how to return. The washer was wonderful to have since we brought limited clothing and we were able to hang them up on the clothes line outside to dry.

Awesome place to stay

Great for families for a short or long stay. Off street parking, walking distance to Kogarah train station Plentiful local supermarkets (ALDI, WOOLWORTHS) and plenty of places to eat. Our little home away from home was well equipped and had everything that we needed. Wendy is a super host and we look forward to booking again for our next holiday. Highly recommended.

Lovely older character property with everything you need in a great location close to the train station. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and even basic food items, which helped us to quickly settle in. Wendy is a thoughtful host and even left some milk in the fridge for us. Not an issue for us as there were 2 strong men in our party, but be aware that access is via a narrow spiral staircase, so carrying heavy or bulky items might be difficult. Would stay again - thanks Wendy!

A fantastic base

This is a beautiful spot in a pleasant neighborhood in easy walking distance to the train station. The climb up the spiral stairs with bags might be tricky for some, but if you can manage that, you're in for a delightful stay. It worked perfectly for us, and Wendy was a wonderful host.

Great base for exploring Sydney

Situated in a quiet neighbourhood with local shops and the railway station just 5mins away. Sydney city centre is half an hour away by trains running every few mins. The property is perfect to use as a base and well equipped. Everything was as described by Wendy who lives in the house below the property. She is a very helpful host who made us feel very welcome.

We will be back!

The location was just perfect. We had friends and family 30 mins in either direction and the train station so close meant only about a 30 min trip into the CBD. It was just lovely, waking to the birds every day and a short walk to everything! The stairs were totally fine for us, but for someone older or maybe with knee trouble it may be difficult but we will be back as it wasn’t an issue for us. The bags we packed were a little hard to carry up but that’s about all. Wendy had covered all bases, there was muffins and milk for breakfast, she left travel cards to use for public transport and even had toys/games for the little ones if you had some! The floor was a little squeaky so I was constantly telling my clan to be quiet so we didn’t affect her or the guest nearby but I suppose I could have relaxed a bit more as I’m sure she is used to it, and we could hear the neighbours next to us too. We loved it. We have left some things and Wendy has accommodated me when I have arranged for them to be collected by some of our friends.

This self-contained 2 bedroom unit is situated in a perfect spot for those who want to visit and explore Sydney. The train station is a few hundred meters away. Just leave your car and enjoy taking public transport to explore places. The unit is equiped with everything you need.

Perfect Place for holidays

We are a family of 5 (3 kids) and visited Sydney over Christmas break. We stayed at this property and for 5 nights and found enjoyed our stay a lot. My kids were very happy with the balcony, views and the spiral stairs. The place was compact and had everything we needed. Toys were in-place for the kids to enjoy. Close to shopping center and Brighton lee sands beach. Owner Windy was nice and kind. We would love to stay at this property upon our next Visit.

Everything you need and great host

This house was just perfect for our family stay in Sydney. Accurately described on the website listing, it had everything you needed and more for a very comfortable stay. There were books and puzzles for my toddler granddaughter and my husband was thrilled with Foxtel to watch the footy! Well equipped kitchen. It was out in the suburbs, but with an easy 10 minute walk to the train station, and very regular train service, you could easily get to central station and from there anywhere you wanted in Sydney. You did walk past some medium density housing towers to get to the station but felt quite safe with wide open streets and pathways and good lighting. There was a Woolworths supermarket, butcher, cake shop etc right at the train station complex and a range of cafes in streets nearby the station. The host Wendy, was exceptional - fast to respond to any queries, flexible, accomodating and went that extra mile doing things like leaving fresh bread and milk on arrival.
