Dit huis werd gebouwd in 2017 met elk aspect van het bouwproject gericht op het verbeteren van het uitzicht en de sereniteit van de locatie.

  Geniet van 270 graden adembenemend uitzicht op het skigebied Winter Park, Byers Peak, Sheep Mountain en de Continental Divide. De zonsopgang is episch en dat geldt ook voor de zonsondergang. Er is een overdekt terrasgedeelte dat perfect is om te genieten van de eenzaamheid tijdens een sneeuwstorm of tijdens het koken van uw maaltijden op de grote 3-pits Weber-grill.

De gietijzeren houtkachel en de zuidelijke blootstelling houden dit huis warm, ongeacht het tijdstip van de dag. Het hoofdniveau heeft 2 grote banken, een grote eettafel en stoelen op het kookeiland. De uitloopkelder heeft een grote L-vormige bank, een speeltafel en een kantooropstelling met een wifi-compatibele printer. Ons huis heeft GRATIS WiFi voor uw gebruik.

Er is voldoende parkeergelegenheid voor 5-7 auto's. Het skigebied Winter Park ligt op 20 minuten afstand, de Ski Granby Ranch ligt op 15 minuten afstand, 3 nationale toegangspunten voor het bos zijn bereikbaar in minder dan 20 minuten, een locatie ligt op 10 minuten afstand. Vissen van wereldklasse op de rivier de Fraser ligt op 10 minuten afstand. Of vis op de Colorado-rivier. Of de GRATIS visvijver voor kinderen in Granby of in Fraser. Rocky Mountain National Park ligt op 40 minuten afstand. De stad Grand Lake is bereikbaar in 35 minuten.

Aan het einde van je avontuur gevulde dag (en), zink in de leren banken, de gigantische zitzakken, speel de Wii, kijk een film, 120 kanalen met kabel-tv zijn ook beschikbaar, geniet van een drankje, speel een paar bordspellen neem je honden wandelen of genieten van de eenzaamheid. This beautiful log home was just perfect for our family get together. All the conveniences of home were met. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook many of our meals there...pots, pans, utensils, grill, coffeemaker & Keurig, washer & dryer. I had wanted an area where we could all gather in one place and be able to spill out on to a deck. This house did that. It felt so remote but yet minutes from Winter Park/Fraser. Thank you, Richards, for sharing your home. Lots of wonderful memories were made there.

Floridians’ Dream Getaway!

Our stay was a truly magical winter vacation! The listing and photos accurately capture the stunning views surrounding the house—absolutely breathtaking. Coming from Florida, waking up to snow every day was a fun experience! The location is fantastic, with easy access to groceries, skiing, snowmobiling, and everything we needed. Perfect!!!

We booked this as a family vacation for spring break. Eric was an amazing host. He answered all questions quickly. Gave us places to shop and restaurants to try. (Randy's and Hernando's were very good). The house was more beautiful in person. Photos don't do it enough justice!!! The mountain views look unreal. Literally breathtaking. The house was loaded with enough toys and activities to keep the kids busy without having to go out, but the location is about 20 mins max from any activity if you choose to explore the area. I cannot say enough good things about this house and host!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Awesome mountain getaway

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful mountain cabin. There were 12 of us, mostly adults and a couple doggo’s. The layout of the cabin is great. Main level master bedroom with attached bathroom as well as a half bath. Master bedroom was large with a very comfortable king sized bed. Two bedrooms in the basement (king and Queen) were also very comfortable and had another full bath. The loft is great for kids. The bunk beds and pull out couch weren’t very comfortable for the adults but the kid didn’t mind. Kitchen was well stocked with almost everything we needed to cook with, although we relied on the very nice French presses (yes, 2!) for coffee as there wasn’t a drip machine we could find. The Keurig was available as well but we brought coffee and enjoyed the French press instead. Plenty of silverware, some spices, lots of casserole dishes, pots and pans, mugs, cups and plates. Dishwasher worked great. Oven and stove are nice. It was even warm enough to grill and they provided an additional full tank of propane to use- we were very grateful for that as the tank on the grill was empty. The view from the deck was incredible and the front yard had enough snow to make a sledding track. Lots of fun!We had an issue upon arrival and the property manager was quick to respond and helped get it fixed as promptly as possible. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for helping us make wonderful memories at your mountain getaway.

Very nice home and very accommodating. We were a bigger group maxed out the home at 12 and we still had room. Enjoyed the view and the property having fun in the snow. One recommendation is you need a 4x4 vehicle to make it up the drive way. Other than that wonderful place and great host. Thank you!

Beautiful views and a wood stove

The place was beautiful and looked just like the pictures. It was well stocked, and even had kids' toys in a cute little loft area and several dog beds. My senior dog spread out on one of those beds in front of the wood stove and basically refused to move for the entire week. The host was nice and easy to reach. It was a great location, nearby to two ski resorts and hot springs. The view alone is worth the stay (although if you stay here in winter, definitely make sure you have decent tires and either 4WD or AWD!). Great place for a family vacation.

Very fancy cabin, Sparkling clean. The view was stunning, super quiet and relaxing. Kids loved the loft full of toys they played up there for hours. The owners were on point with communicating when we had any questions or concerns. They really thought of everything to accommodate their guests. We had forgot our baby gate at home and to our surprise they had one in the master bedroom closet! Such a life saver 😮‍💨10/10 would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends!

Great place for a fun family vacation!

Our grandchildren squealed with exitement about the play area/loft, large bunk beds and how big the house was. Great accommodations for the rest of the family as well. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful view. The kitchen was well stocked (place settings, utensils, cookware, small appliances and pantry items). Pay attention to the refrigerator temperature and promptly notify the host if not acceptable. Overall, a great experience!

Breathtaking views!!!

If you’re looking for a true mountain escape, this is your place! This beautiful A-frame log cabin is equipped with everything you need for an easy transition into your vacation. There is plenty of space and my family and I were very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the wrap-around terrace enjoying the fantastic weather and absolute spectacular views! This beautiful mountain home is quiet and private yet close to various amenities. We enjoyed time in the quaint downtowns of Winter Park, Fraser, and Granby, boating at Grand Lake, and horseback riding in Tabernash. Lots of great hiking spots nearby as well. Thanks to our great hosts for making check-in and check-out so easy and for being accessible at all hours!! We will definitely be back!!

Perfect cozy cabin with stunning views!

This cabin is the perfect place for a getaway in the mountains for a ski trip or just to enjoy the Colorado landscape. Eric had the house thoughtfully set up for guests and comfortable for a large group of people. The cabin is in a great location, and we easily explored the surrounding area. Not far from Winter Park Ski Resort, Hot Sulphur Springs, Grand Lake and Rocky Mtn. National Park. Highly recommend this place, all of our out-of-town friends couldn't stop raving about the cabin and the views!

Excellent house with spectacular views

Great property! Everything we could think of was provided. We were on a ski trip to Winter Park, the resort is less than 30 minute drive away. Extremely cold and windy week, the house was nice and warm. Views are exquisite. Log house, comfortable bedrooms and kitchen, lots of extra space on all three levels. Secluded location. It can be hard to reach the house and get out in a snowstorm, but the host arranges timely plowing services for the driveway, and the county roads are well-maintained. In winter walking around is limited to the roads, but our dogs did not seem to mind. The host always responds quickly to all concerns. Thank you, Eric!
