'The room was clean and comfortable, not at all noisy. We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious and very reasonably priced. The team at the Four Horseshoes were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very good too, large portions and a big pot of tea. We had a really relaxing break.'

'What an excellent country pub. We have a lovely steak meal and used the garden to sit outside and have a drink before retiring to our room. The staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly.Breakfast was well cooked and very enjoyable.
Our room was lovely and clean but the toilet flush didn’t work as well as it should.
Overall we had lovely meals and a great stay made better by the welcoming friendly and attentive staff'

Muv een gordijntje die door het vocht wat aangeslagen was, een keer door de machine zou geen kwaad kunnen. De belangrijkste dingen (badkamer, slaapkamer) zagen er brandschoon uit! 'This place is outstanding. It’s a lovely location in a quiet village a few minutes walk away to the shop and pub and within minutes your in the countryside exploring the WWII history on offer.
It’s very quiet and safe and free parking right outside the door. The cottage is very nice and is a mixture of modern bits mixed with old but has a very well stocked kitchen, a large comfy living area, a down stairs bathroom and toilet and two upstairs bedrooms. I will definitely be back.'

Have just stayed here for 2 nights as I was working in the area at a festival and Mark the owner from the outset was so helpful with directions/ my late check in and kept me updated with pictures on how to enter the hotel. The room was cozy and did just the job for my 2 night work stay. Also the breakfast and coffee… top notch!!!'
