'Outside appearance not great but our little room was clean and comfortable. Queen bed, bathtub to soak after skiing, microwave and fridge all included. Had to do the check in at a different hotel but it was only 2 hotels over. Ate at an excellent pizza place right across the street. Good food and service.'

'Great place. Fun game room with pool table. Well-equipped kitchen. Nice hot tub and plenty of bathrooms. Need to bring own soap/shampoo. Super market within a mile on main road-close to S Lake Tahoe if you like that. Multi-levels, so if steps are a problem, not your place, but no problem for us.'

'We really enjoyed our stay at Cubby Bear and made good use of the amenities including the BBQ which had back up propane which was nice. Having the garage door opener available was really helpful for returning from our ski trips. Would stay here again for sure.'

'We stayed here as a chance to be in the snow and not at the prices of Tahoe. It was a great choice. The house was beautiful and perfect size for the 4 of us (2 adults, 7 and a 3 year old). The back yard was great for the kids to play in the snow, and there was lots of space inside to feel comfortable. We would love to stay here again.'

'We had a great time here. The house was plenty spacious for 5 adults, very clean, and in a quiet area. Amenities were great (smart tv, arcade machine), and the texts and welcome binder were very helpful. We liked that we could walk to dinner, coffee, etc. The only thing I would note is if you have a full-sized SUV (we had a Suburban rental), it likely won’t fit in the garage. It still fit in the driveway parking, but just to know. Also, an ice scrapper/snow brush could be helpful. Our rental...

'Weer een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij the Americana Village. Het is een leuk complex en we hadden een mooie ruime kamer met keukentje, (eet)tafel en bank. Op loopafstand van Heavenly Village waar genoeg te shoppen en te eten is. Ontbijtfaciliteit had iets beter gekund.'
