'Lazy Bear Lodge is a great West Shore place for summer activities; ideal for spending days at Meeks, Chambers, or heading up to float the Truckee. Kitchen had everything we needed. The front seems pretty hemmed in by the neighbors but the back of the property opens up to the woods. We got to see a bear and her two cubs roll past one evening which was exciting for the kids. At the time of our visit, there was some construction next door but I can't fault the property for that. The downstairs...

'This home was everything we wanted it to be. Incredibly clean, host was easy to communicate with, more than enough space for everyone, the bar room was gorgeous, the back yard was perfection (kayak, paddle boards, pier with comfortable seating) and the views are indescribable. Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting a place on the lake. Hoping to someday come back for another visit with family and friends. 10/10'
