This stay was a reminder that photos don’t always tell the full story. The biggest issue for us was a strong unpleasant odor throughout the home that was noticeable immediately upon arrival and persisted during our stay. We reported it to the host right away. The backyard was not directly accessible from inside the home. The only way to reach it was to leave through the front entrance and walk around the outside of the fenced area. Additionally, the fence gate was propped open when we arrived, which was not ideal with young children. The living room seating was much smaller than it appeared in the listing photos. The couch comfortably seated only two adults, making the common area feel undersized for a home advertised to sleep several guests. The beds were also uncomfortable and quite noisy with movement. One detail that caught us off guard was receiving a post-booking notice stating that surveillance cameras monitor the building’s hallways 24/7. Since this was advertised as a standalone home, the wording was confusing and left us unsure of where cameras were actually located. On the positive side, the home appeared clean. The sheets and towels were fresh and free of hair, and the Wi-Fi was reliable throughout our stay.Overall, this property may work for some travelers, but it was not the best fit for our groups needs and expectations.
