'Everything seemed to be a hassle at this hotel. We really didn't feel welcomed. Upon arrival no one helped us with our luggage. The main reception area was hard to find and has extremely poor lighting. The staff were friendly but very inexperienced. It was difficult carrying our luggage up a flight of stairs to our room. We did have the option to use and elevator but it was roughly 100 yards out of the way. I would of hoped a staff member would of helped us with our luggage. The boardwalk is...

'Was a nice sized unit. Lots of stairs. Came with an attached small one car garage. Beds comfy. Nice size kitchen with dishes and pots and pans. '

'The staff were truly helpful and the whole property both inside and out were clean. We (family of 4) stayed for 1 night and booked the hotel because “pool” was listed as one of the amenities, but we were disappointed to find out that it was closed. We paid $250 for the one night which seems very high considering they knew the pool was closed but chose not to disclose that until after the fact. The breakfast was nice and overall the stay was good but it was overpriced for what they advertise.'

'We we just needed a place to stay while on the road and the beds were comfortable. The room was clean carpet probably could've used a bit of Spot treatment and we didn't have time for the breakfast, but the staff were helpful and we were able to get into our room a little bit early, so that was always nice.'

'People drinking in the pool area not paying attention to their kids climbing up the slide and throwing footballs around which hit my husband, also they were all sitting around the hot tub not even in the hot tub! Breakfast was okay but I burnt myself really badly on the waffle maker as the waffle got stuck and we had no utensils to get them out other then that great friendly staff and he try accommodating we will definitely be back'

'Liked: Friendly host, very clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed, good kitchen and coffee facilities in the common room, great view of the lake. Tasty breakfast. Not great: some traffic noise while sitting outside looking at the lake (can’t hear it in the room) I would book again.'
