Goed verzorgt, erg behulpzame receptie aardig personeel en prima ligging. Kamer goede ligging, achter aan de niet straatkant. Niets te merken van de drukte. Alleen jammer dat waterflessen niet ingegrepen waren in de kamerprijs.

Perfect hotel
Prima hotel, midden in het centrum. De kamer werd iedere dag schoongemaakt, schone handdoeken ed. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en gezellig. Het strand was op loopafstand, even met de kabelbaan naar beneden en je was er. Taormina is een heel leuk stadje, met heel veel winkels en restaurants.

Uitstekende prijs/kwaliteit verhouding
Een zeer sympathiek hotel in het hartje van Taormina. Veel authentieke details, een redelijk ruime en zeer nette kamer en het hotel heeft erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. De prijzen zijn niet al te hoog en de ligging is subliem. Taormina is dé plaats om Sicilië beter te ontdekken en Hotel Victoria is een goede optie om in te verblijven.

The hotel is in the middle of the old town, which was perfect for sightseeing. We arrived in the middle of a very warm weather and the A/C was broken for a week what made our stay a little unpleasant. Although the property has an elevator for the main floors, it also has a lot of stairs and small steps which can be a problem for seniors. Staff is friendly and always up to help! Breakfast is great with orange juice, nice cappuccinos, cakes, different bread and fruits. The taxi can’t enter the old city, so you must carry your bags for around 200m (like for almost all other hotels in that area). And because you are at a very very touristy place, look for restaurants in advance to find great meals. Taxis from/to the station are around 20 euros (Oct 2023) but once in the old town, you won’t need car anymore. Don’t leave without tasting the gelato at Gelatomania — although the name seems from the 80’s, it is the best in town (including odd flavors like lavanda and ginger!).

This was a perfect location if you want to go shopping in Taormina. Its on the main street for the stores, restaurants and main historical attractions. The staff was very friendly, they have an awesome breakfast, and clean facilities. The only downside is that the air conditioning didn't work and so therefore the rooms were hot at times. After spending the day outside, you couldn't cool down unfortunately. Otherwise, it was a very nice place.

Great little apartment BUT we had no air conditioning so it was way too hot. It is looking out over the main st in Taormina so in a great spot. Noisy but would have been fine if could shut windows if aircon worked. Staff were awesome!

Hotel Victoria is a great place to stay - it is in the heart of Taormina, in the middle of the best places to shop, eat and drink in the town. The staff at Hotel Victoria are incredibly friendly and really make you feel welcome.

Hotel Victoria was in a very convenient location. There is good things to say about this hotel, the staff, very friendly, and the location was a amazing right at the heart of the shopping district. The downside to this hotel is that it was very uncomfortable. The double bed is made up of two single beds on a wood platform. As soon as I sat on the bed, I knew we were going to have a problem. You could feel the wood through the mattress. We were there for four days, after the first day my body hurts so bad because the mattress so hard. My husband went down to the front desk at offered to pay for some kind of a liner or mattress cover. But they wouldn’t. On the second day, we tried stacking four blankets together to soften the bed cover, but it still was hard. The thing is if I’m going on vacation I want to have at least a bed I can sleep in. He said all of the rooms have the same mattress and they’re all hard. So if you want a good vacation at a great location, but don’t care about your sleep. This is a great hotel. But if you care about your comfort levels, this is not a good hotel for you. It honestly was like sleeping on the floor. The breakfast was OK, nothing special. It consisted of meat, cheese, and bread and cold boiled eggs, but that I could deal with. The hotel was very clean and the room was very clean. one final thing, the shower was so small that if you’re over 200 pounds good luck getting it there. We’re not big people, but we had to turn sideways

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Victoria. The hotel is very centrally located in the old town, close to shopping, cafes/restaurants and tourist attractions. We could easily access the public bus service. The hotel is a bit quirky and traditional in decor, however very clean and with a good sized modern bathroom. The buffet breakfast was very good. The staff from reception, catering and cleaning were so very polite and helpful.

I’m not sure how this property is considered a luxury hotel. There is nothing luxurious about it. The mattress was as hard as a rock. Absolutely no give to it at all. The pillows were 2 inches of hard foam, again, no give to them. The furniture is sparse and uncomfortable. If you are looking for anything soft and comfortable, you won’t find it here. At best it is a Howard Johnson’s wannabe.

Great location close to everything and right on the main pedestrian street. Super host Luigi, Pietro and Salvatore are very helpful and knowledgeable. Parking is not great, you must park at Lumbi and the shuttle is very irregular, otherwise great stay. Warning: avoid the tourist trap restaurants and stores. Shop and dine outside the tourist zones.

Una pésima experiencia. Arrogancia y mala educación. Cometimos el error de equivocarnos en la fecha de la reservación, para 30 días antes de la fecha de nuestro viaje (reservación a través de Hoteles.com/Expedia). Nos dimos cuenta del error al ingresar al hotel, dado que no existía reserva a nuestro nombre. Si bien nos ofrecieron una habitación disponible, la cual la volvimos a pagar en su totalidad, se negaron a cancelar la reservación anterior, para que podamos gestionar un reembolso. Pagamos doble alojamiento, doble servicio de limpieza, doble desayuno, doble impuestos, por una sola reservación. Realizamos el reclamo en Hoteles.com/Expedia, recibimos una rápida respuesta, y una muy buena pre-disposición a ayudarnos con nuestro problema. Ellos les enviaron un correo electrónico, al hotel, pidiendo un gesto de buena voluntad, cooperación y comprensión, ya que la selección incorrecta de fechas, es algo que suele suceder de manera habitual por los viajeros. Ante esta situación, la respuesta de los dueños del Hotel Victoria, fue firme y negativa. Para ellos el hotel, es un simple negocio. Ojala podamos ayudar a todos los viajeros, a que no sufran este tipo de maltrato y pasar por un mal momento, en un viaje y una experiencia que debería ser maravillosa.

You are right on the Corso with this property. Lovley. It is a bit dated in the bathroom, but clean!! So if you are really large, or need a 5 star bathroom, this is not for you. If you are flexible, stay here and go visit the roof. If you are driving: Park at the Lumbe and take the shuttle to the main part of the city. The Lumbe costs 24 euros for 2 days of parking. That we didn't know that at first made the trip to Taormina a bit more interesting!

The location is super convenient to all Palermo has to offer. The room I took is very small, cramped even, but the proprietors are kind, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was also very ample and high quality.

A friendly spot in a perfect Taormina location.
This was a nice, cozy hotel in the middle of the central walki g street. The personell in reception, breakfast room and cleaning were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine. Our rooms were large, but could use a recliner or good chair to relax. Location was perfect! Cozy, traditional style with antiques and period furnishings. The staff was the best part of it all, small but excellent.

Very small rooms. Just barely able to get in tiny shower and I'm not a huge person. No a/c before summertime, no ceiling fans. Street noise is horrible when you are forced to open window. Bed is hard as a rock. and paper-thin pillows.

We stayed at the Hotel Victoria for 4 nights as a family of 4 with two teenage boys. Two rooms next to each other on the second floor. The hotel is in an enviable location on Corso Umberto, right in the heart of Taormina. This is a no frills hotel but it was perfect for us. The rooms are large and clean. Fresh towels were provided daily. Breakfast was standard European - cereals, bread, ham, cheese etc and more than enough. Luigi and Salvatore on the main desk were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Our Godfather Tour was cancelled with very little notice and Salvatore recommended and arranged a private 3-hour taxi tour to take us to the same places with less than an hour’s notice - one of the best things we did. We highly recommend the Hotel Victoria and all the staff - thank you for a wonderful stay!

Ich war nun schon das zweite Mal dort, weil es mir schon beim ersten Mal so gut gefallen hat: Tolles Preisleistungsverhältnis, unschlagbare Lage und sehr nettes Personal. Wenn ich ein drittes Mal nach Taormina komme weiss ich also jetzt schon, wo ich wieder übernachten werde ;)

We absolutely enjoyed to stay in the mainstreet. No problem with noise and quiet mornings. We even stayed two more nights than planned. Rooms exactly as shown on the pictures. Exellent and helpfull staff!! And great breakfast. We recommend it strongly.

Simple, no comfort, clean. Location couldn’t be better! Right onto Taormina historic center. Unavoidable parking on the outskirts ( $ 10 per day) Best: staff ( Piero and Luigi) , always friendly and helpful for guidance and details! Recommend for who’s spending outside time enjoying this beautiful city !
