'We had a great time in this beautifully decorated home away from home! It was a joy to return to after a day of walking, it has lots of cosy spaces to relax, with great views! Great rainshower, very well equipped kitchen and comfortable good size bedrooms. Everything very fresh and clean. On arrival there were flowers from the garden and a basket with goodies on the kitchentable, thank you Catherine for this lovely welcome and a great stay! The Spelier family'

'Stayed in the lodge- you pay for the hot tub and the setting. The accommodation is dated and cramped with little amenities especially in the kitchen-broken utensils etc. Feel the price warrants a little bit of a higher standard. Restaurant on main hotel serves great seafood. Just don’t expect the lodge accommodation to match the outdoor facilities!'

'This has to be one of the best places for its views that I have been to. So quiet and peaceful, sun was out, absolutely breath taking! Lodge was spotless, spacious and would definitely come back. Well worth the money! '

'Das Haus war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Garten ist wirklich schön. Leider war das Geschirr nicht so sauber an einigen Tassen, Tellern und Schüsseln waren Essensreste. Aber haben wir dank der Spülmaschine schnell beseitigt. Ein Staubsauger wäre optimal, für zwischendurch. Der Blick auf den See ist perfekt, allerdings das Haus liegt es auch direkt an einer sehr befahrenen Hauptstraße und das Schlafzimmer an der Straße ist was für Frühaufsteher!!!!! Fazit: ok und Invarary ist wirklich nett.'

'Highly recommended! We were very warmly welcomed and felt at home immediately. The Garden Studio is comfortable, well equipped and nicely decorated. Avid readers will happily spend an occasional rainy day browsing the eclectic collection of books provided. The guide books and maps provided offer many ideas to explore the area.'

'Mooi gelegen huis tussen Fort William en Oban. Ideaal voor uitstapjes, maar ook de directe omgeving is prachtig. Er is een golfbaan op 100 meter afstand en je kunt mooie wandelingen maken in de omliggende bergen. Waterdruk in toilet en douche is voor verbetering vatbaar. We hebben er genoten.'

'Dit huis heeft echt alles wat een mens kan wensen. De locatie is geweldig, de kamers hebben allemaal een prachtig uitzicht en dan die filmkamer.... wat een feest. Wij hebben echt genoten, we hadden prachtig weer (voor Schotland) en hebben veel kunnen wandelen en de omgeving kunnen beijken. Thuiskomen in Morelaggan house is dan echt heel fijn. Kleine en grote kinderen vermaken zich er prima. Het huis heeft voldoende speelgoed voor iedereen. We missen het nu al. En Linda is zeer behulpzaam met...

'Tucked away at the top of the village this little cottage was comfortable and had a very well equipped kitchen. The pictures don't do it justice, it's great place. A lovely walk to Kilmartin (20 minutes if you find an overgrown shortcut through the back wood). My top tip, take birdseed for the feeders and breakfast becomes a fantastic show of local birdlife.'

'This is an excellent house in a beautiful area. We had 15 guests ranging from 4 to 79 - the accommodation was perfect for all of our needs…it was warm, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a particular highlight. Gillian was approachable and helpful if needed. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and the area.'

'A lovely property backing on to the main road to Oban. Had everything we needed for a great extended family weekend. All enjoyed the fabulous hot tub and we made good use of the BBQ and fire pit table in the evenings. A couple of snags and Gillian got on to them straight away, thank you!'

'Short drive to Oban where you can explore all the islands via the ferry. Perfect location. The view from the place was incredible and the place itself was spacious, clean, perfect really. Highly recommend it without any hesitation!'

Good if you're passing through.
"Hotel has seen better days. The rooms and public areas could do with a fresh-up. Especially the doors to the wet areas (toilet, bathroom). Our room was difficult to lock as that needed maintenance too. The staff was not able to fix it during our stay. Good and comfortable beds though. Breakfast area was huge so a big buffet to choose from but no egg station. No breakfast menu or freshly made coffee or tea available, only a machine. "
