'This charming house was full of character and super for a group of friends or family. Lovely decor with plenty of communal space as well as good sized bedrooms, with comfy beds and storage space. Such a treat to all be ensuite as well! A fantastic kitchen/diner, with everything you would need (including delicious cream tea on arrival) and an option to relax in the large lounge. 'This was the last place I booked on our long road trip through England where we didn't have friends or family to stay with. I must admit, I had looked at so many different places, that I assumed this had wi-fi, and I thought I had booked a place with a washing machine. 'My family loved our stay at Little Redlap. The house is large and gorgeous, with traditional features as well as a modern, light-filled kitchen where we spent a lot of time together. My family enjoys walking, and the house is perfectly situated for a beautiful walk into Dartmouth in one direction, and a stroll to the Green Dragon pub in Stoke Fleming in the other direction.'

'What can we say other than “absolutely fabulous “. The house is amazing with beautiful views and facilities. Every bedroom is a good size so no one felt disadvantaged . The pool is perfect and beautifully warm . A big advantage is the local pub where we enjoyed a wonderful Sunday Roast . We felt very privileged to stay here and will visit again .'

It’s easy to get the ferry to Dartmouth where there is a lot going on and some excellent restaurants. We enjoyed our visit to Greenway. Would highly recommend the retreat for a relaxing stay.'

'This house proved to be an idea l place to spend a few days with grandparents, children and grandchildren. The facilities were fantastic and allowed us to enjoy our holiday despite very poor weather. The warm enclosed swimming pool enabled the grand children to improved their swimming skills and the movie screen and projector allowed the adults to catch up on some movies. I hope we get chance to return before long.'

The village boasts a bakery, inviting pubs, and the fantastic Clipper restaurant, ensuring there's never a shortage of delicious dining options. Additionally, the short walk to Teignmouth provided ample opportunities to explore the pier, browse quaint shops, indulge in cozy cafes, and even take a scenic ferry back to Shaldon, making it a truly memorable and picturesque...

'We had a very enjoyable stay in Chapel House. The house is a great place to relax and take in the wonderful views over the river. It is well equipped with comfortable beds & sofas. There are some great walks from the house with Dartmouth just a short ferry ride away. Very good breakfasts available 2 mins down the road at Ebb & Flow. Netflix was an added bonus.'
