'I was missing a connecting flight and had to stay one night in Barbados. Despite being quite late I was welcome personally by the owner, my mini-apartment had all you need and I could even pay the next day when settled in. Very personal and caring service.'

'Wonderful time spent at Fairmont. Warm welcome from the moment we stepped on the property. Got a room upgrade and complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. The cleaning staff kept the rooms well maintained and replenished the water daily. Ate in the Taboras restaurant and daily breakfast. Great choice and very good food. 'The hotel staff is exceptional, attentive and friendly. The hotel is well maintained and relaxing. They are many options for dining in the area including the hotel's restaurant. There is also a well known active night life nearby. From the hotel there is an excellent view of the sea with nice beaches a short distance away. In June during our visit there was an abundance of the sargassum sea weed, which at times, produced a strong odor. Thankfully, we were told it only occur a few months in...

'The staff were excellent. However, they only have 1 restaurant. The food they served for dinner was very small. And they only served hamburgers and hotdogs for lunch. We did not take advantage of the all inclusive options for lunch and dinner. I recommend going to a different restaurant for dinner. Shower needs to be updated. '
