'Nette en schone kamer met een heerlijk groot bed. Fijne badkamer. Lekker ontbijt met voldoende keuze mogelijkheden. Aan de overkant van de straat zit de Wallmart en nog wat andere winkels. Er zit ook een Mexicaans restaurantje, waar je erg lekker kunt eten.'

'I thought things were fine, my wife didn't. The walls are thin, we could hear neighbors talking pretty easily in the room. My wife asked for tea and the desk lady told her she'd sell her a bag, they didn't put tea bags in the rooms until later in the season. The wood fire in the common area was nice. We didn't really use the balcony, it was OK I guess. There were odd noises during the night.'

'De locatie was in orde, maar daar is alles mee gezegd. Het is een goedkoop motel, dus verwacht geen 5 sterren behandeling. Helaas had dit motel de basis ook niet op orde. Alles was vies en de kamer die we kregen was niet in orde. We misten kussens, die kregen we extra nadat we daar om vroegen.het bed zat vol.met vlwkken, evenals een van de hoofdkussens. De vloer was erg vies en we vonden overal haren. We hebben het motel hierop geattendeerd en ze gaven ons de mogelijkheid om een andere kamer...

'We enjoyed our stay at the Highlander Mountain Home -spending our 25th anniversary there. We hope to return soon. Sarah was delightful and attentive. She provided answers to all of our questions. We had enjoyable conversations with the restaurant manager (and learned of her family’s long history in the community) as well as the staff members - Maggie, Abbie and Graham. The location was perfectly situated in the middle of town. Highlands is a wonderful community with gorgeous nature surrounding...

Negatives: Light switches not working Tv was broken Wifi didn't work Bathroom was full of mold and ants I could not stand under the shower because the shower head was so low. 'The room was great, with a separate siting room and a big sofa to sit . the hotel is right in the middle of town and suoer dog friendly. Staff were helpful and friendly. The only drawback is the breakfast. No fruit or healthier options, even the oatmeal had maple syrup flavoring. The bagels ended up being our choice. Good coffee and free water. Parking is free. Overall we would rate it highly and return.'
