This beautiful spot is up about 1/2 mile from the Nantahala Outdoor Center in Bryson City, NC.
The place with a funny name: Pickens Nose. Despite the weird name, this is a great spot to visit as it provides breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. This is a favorite tradition of ours but the last 2 years, the cleanliness of the facility is not up to the Brasstown Valley Resort standards. ALL areas need deep cleaning as there is inches of DUST on baseboards, etc. Our bathroom counter and door was very dusty and the showerhead was not clean. ...
