'The hotel is easily reached by bus from either Derby or Nottingham. However, if you plan to do a lot of sightseeing in the area, it's probably best to have your own car. In spite of its proximity to M1, the hotel is set in a quiet and pleasant location. Most of the staff was very kind and helpful: one of them was on the same bus as us when we arrived, and kindly walked us from the bus stop to the hotel. 'We hebben verschillende hotels geprobeerd maar komen toch steeds hier weer terug. Het hotel ligt voor ons zeer centraal en makkelijk langs de M1, de service en vriendelijkheid is optimaal, het ontbijt geweldig en mocht er toch iets niet goed zijn wordt het meteen verholpen.'

'Plenty of parking, room nice and quiet. Mattresses were comfy but the single beds felt very narrow also the legs of the bed were angled out and because of the dark colour too, a few stubbed painful toes! Food was a bit on the pricey side £8 for a portion of sweet potato fries! Breakfast was nice, enough choice. And the shower was nice and powerful. '

'De kamer stond propvol met meubelstukken die geen enkel nut hadden. Je kon amper rond het bed lopen. Wij waren in kamer Tokio. Badkamer was OK. Het hotel is vooraan gelegen aan een 4-baanse hoofdweg. Aan de achterkant een andere drukke baan. Luchtkwaliteit was allicht erg slecht.'

'You can park outside the hotel theres about 6/7 spaces but u have to pay £10 a night and they dont say it till uve actually booked but i wouldnt bother unless u r a Druggie or Alki or a chavi loudmouth with no respect for others. The photos on your website are obviously from many many years ago because it is now an absolute filthy mess. Threadbare dirty carpets, pkaster and paint coming off all the walls, damp patches everywhere, tiny rooms and some with no windows. Says a tv in the rooms , but...

'Goed en mooi hotel voor als je een paar dagen wilt overnachten, dicht bij vliegveld. kamers zijn zeer ruim en zeer goed uitgerust. Minibar, koffie en thee, waterkoker, Tv, noem maar op! Wij hebben overnacht omdat we een wedstrijd hadden in Loughborough 15 minuten rijden er vandaan.'

'Lovely property, nice rooms and good facilities for kids. Swimming pool, games room and outside tennis and football court. Good selection of food in the restaurants and at breakfast.'

'Although many stars given by me, my all in all result is 3 stars because of the all day long (24/7) heavily humming noise I heard in my room. Luckily I had a couple of earbuds with me that I was going to use during a pop concert, so I didn't hear the noise during my sleep. My room was a single person room, number 31. So if you get that one offerred, immediatly ask for another room.'
