'Overall 3.5/5 The room was clean and quite spacious, although the bed nook was a bit awkward to get in and out of. It is in a decent part of town (north end) with lots of cute cafe’s near by without the hype of ‘downtown’. The feel is very much like an Airbnb. Access to the property was easy. 'While the front desk staff were lovely and got us checked in well before the 3pm check in time after our red eye flight, our delight ended there. The room was musty and not well maintained. Stains on the floor, lamp shades and ceiling - possibly water damage? Uncomfortable bed, no real amenities, and the room made me feel stuffed up and sore throat which disappeared as soon as we checked out. I wouldn’t stay here again.'

We hadden een 2 persoons bed gereserveerd en voor ons is een bed (type twijfelaar) geen 2 persoons bed. Bij uitcheck weinig belangstelling hoe we het ervaren hadden. '

'Close to interesting boardwalk along harbour in Halifax and right in the lower part of the center with many restaurants nearby. This means also that you have to walk uphill in many cases. Hotel is somewhat dated and internetreception was less than expected. Friendly personnel. '

'The location is central to the harbour, close to food vendors as well as 2 restaurants. The property is quite clean. Our room did not get serviced over the 4 days we were there. The staff were all friendly and quite helpful. There is a patio garden as well as the rooftop view of the harbour. This is our second stay at this hotel.'

'We checked in very late, close to midnight due to our flight, and received a less than warm reception. But after that, everything was great. Breakfast was good and had enough variety. Staff were friendly and helpful when we needed more towels and shampoo. And everything was clean and comfortable. One thing, though. This hotel is uphill from everything downtown so, for me, it wasn’t as walkable as I expected. This area of Halifax is all hill. If you have mobility issues, you’ll want to stay...
