'I stayed at this apartment in Duingt with my family of 4. The view of the lake is incredible and the apartment has everything you need with the exception of air conditioning. We were lucky to be there between two major heat waves but the day time temperature was still quite warm (29-30C), so sleeping at night was a challenge. You can get a good breeze coming through the apartment which helps alot, but at night there are no screens so you tend to get some harmless bugs coming into the...

'This property had everything we needed for the two of us to enjoy a relaxing stay, although it is equipped to host a family with a couple of small children as well. The best feature is its location; it is right in the heart of the Old City, just a few minutes walk to the canals, outdoor market, Lake Annecy, and train station. We used the well-equipped kitchen to prepare many meals. The shower is smaller than what most Americans may be used to, but the large tub was most welcome. Pedestrian noise...

'The only improvement I would say would be to have more recommendations at the property for restaurants & places to visit. The restaurants listed were not good but we found some like Le Poisson rouge that were a much better standard.'

'Pros: We were glad to have the baby bed and roll-away bed for the children. We also really liked the self-serve wine selection (even though we didn't use any) and thought it was very reasonably priced. Cons: We were happy with the place we rented but not with the online platform (Bookiply, VRBO, Holidu?) we booked it through. Modifying a booking is a mess, and Holidu also asked for a 1500 Euro deposit that the owner did not want or need. And what is the platform anyway? Is it Bookiply,...
