'Prince Rupert House is a very beautiful house on a country estate. It has an outdoor pool which our grandchildren loved. Also croquet, tennis court and lots of walks. We had no issues with the house … it slept 10 comfortably and would accommodate 12. Great place to go and relax. 25 minutes from York and 30 minutes from Harrogate. All in all a lovely time together as a family. No complains at all. I can heartily recommended this place. They also have smaller properties too.'

'In a nice quiet neighbourhood on the outskirts of York, with ample parking. This lovingly maintained townhouse was the perfect starting point for our city trip to York. A 15 minute walk by some fine architecture takes you to the heart of the city. Perfect for a family getaway. The connecting walls are a bit thin however, so you there is no ABSOLUTE silence when the neighbours are home.'

Communication with Stuart was excellent and we appreciated his recommendations, sent to us just after booking, of places to eat and things to do. Loved it but instruction need to be clearer We eventually got hot water to the shower that didn’t go cold but even then it wasn’t hot hot. Lights anre on dimmer switches annd it took a call to Stayz for us to learn this so we could turn some lights on ant anll and others up. Also it didn’t mention that there were steep slippery steps to get on to the rear garden which again was just a slab and deck area which wasn’t a garden as such. 'We had the best stay at this property. All three properties are very well equipped and were perfect for our large group. The location is stunning and great for doing walks in the local area. Sally was very responsive to any queries I had ahead of the trip and whilst we were there. A hot tub had just been installed a few days before we arrived and was the perfect addition to the property. I am very much looking forward to coming back in the future!'

'The location is fabulous, the apartment is fantastic and amenities great. The beds were not great, very uncomfortable. They advertise luggage storage and before we checked in they stored our luggage and then took it to our room when the room was ready, that was awesome, but when we asked for luggage storage on our check out we were told we would have to pay.
