'Close to Halifax but in a quieter area with a nice view. Room was clean and nice with a cool skylight. Decent internet connection. You can chrome cast to the tv which is also nice. Cleanest bathroom I’ve seen anywhere I’ve stayed in a long time. Liked having a kitchenette in the room and large fridge. In walking distance to some good local restaurants and activities. Tim’s, gas, pharmacy right a cross the road. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Halifax. '

Only, the (male) receptionist was most probably right, that I did not have rights for free breakfasts, but he brought this in such an unfriendly way, that this has influence on my review. 'This is an old, tired hotel in need of renovation. Also the late shift staff is anything but helpful. For one, this hotel has no lift which is a pain if you arrive with heavy luggage, and the evening staff decides to give you a second floor room, and subsequently doesn't offer to help you carry the heavy luggage upstairs.
