'We stayed here a week.I was wishing we had stayed two. The views were incredible and it has a nice kitchen to work in.They could update the dishes, but not really a huge deal. Because the drive up Hwy 1 is on windy and steep roads you may not want to go into town much. The bedrooms are down many steps,so you must be able bodied. Numerous hiking opportunities close by.'

'This place was perfect for our mother/daughter 8th grade girls retreat. Super clean and super pretty. The views are spectacular, the neighborhood is quiet, and there is so much natural beauty around to explore. Morning coffee on the upstairs deck was my favorite part of my stay. 'Our stay at the Mushroom House was a highlight of our trip. The house is beautiful and unique. We discovered new facets throughout our time there, including the one-of-a-kind kitchen drawers and the bookcase door. David was friendly and responsive. "Uitstekend hotel. Locatie is zeer centraal. Met als traktatie de kabeltram voor de deur. Kamer was klein maar functioneel en ook schoon. Leuke bekomstigheid in de lobby was gratis thee, koffie, water, koekjes, appels en ‘s avonds zelfs popcorn. Zelf 1 dag de auto geparkeerd. Dit ging via het hotel en was op loopafstand (valet-parking). Hotel is zeker een aanrader. "
