'This motel is old. The room and the bathroom were clean. The bedroom was somewhat updated, but the bathroom says "hi I'm from the '70's." BUT IT WAS CLEAN. We liked the beach access and the pool.'

'Room hadn't been fully cleaned when I got there. The floor was covered in a layer of dirt/grime - so much so that it would leave a dirt mark on the soles of your feet just by walking around the room. There was trashed tucked behind furniture. I found two cockroaches crawling around, but honestly there were probably more in the room. The bed was made when I arrived, which I think was the only thing that actually was cleaned. Everything else about the stay was fine. Friendly staff. Great access...

'My Husband and I stayed at the Beacon for our Honeymoon, it was absolutely a wonderful stay, the staff was so kind and even had a gift for us. They have a ton of beach items to borrow and the walk from the hotel to the beach is short and super easy. The only comment we have is the bed we particularly had was extremely firm. This was our first time staying here and we are already planning to rebook.'
