El Cuyo is very quiet. A place to go and relax, not for parties or instagramers. The hotel was great, excellent staff. Nice pool and directly on the beach. All you hear are waves and birds

This hotel was perfect in a way; there are a few notes ill make that i hope the ownerS can take into considerationThe reception had african masks and i thought maybe the owner is french. The arrival was a bit disastrous. No receptionist, no bell, no one in site. I waited roughly 20 minutes rather than being in the water before sunset which was my aim. When they guy arrived he didn't apologize and the worst part is that he took a girl that arrived after me and she was already checked in and had tons of questions for her ride to Cancun the next day.. which i felt was inappropriate considering i arrived first and i had not checked in. As the check in continued, the receptionist said he liked my eyes (ok fine) and then asked my age (so strange). Then he walked me to my room that was tight (not a lot of space to walk around) and he stayed there for over ten minutes (not exaggerating !!!) showing me the fan and the bathroom and telling me no one could see in the window in the bathroom and touching my shirt to show me i can hang my clothes... i mean come on.. who doesnt know what a hanger is. He finally left me alone but it was a little uncomfortable. I don't think he meant anything bad but it wasn't professional. Now for access to the rooms, there is a large step. If you have a leg or knee problem, it's a steep step. I am not sure why they didn't just add a smaller step like they did to get to breakfast. The room was very clean, the bathroom was spacious, and there was a

Loved everything
So relaxing place! Everything about this place is a 100%! I hope El Cuyo will stay like this forever and not turn into what Holbox is today. The hotel is right at the beach, nice sunbeds. Breakfast is everything you need for a good start. Sunrise is stunning, we walked the beach almost every morning.

Great hotel in El Cuyo, with direct access to the beach. If you are looking for quiet time in a privileged location, this is it. (They also have a restaurant; food was really good)

Hotel is really pretty and staff is extremely nice and helpful. our bed was comfortable and breakfast and coffee were great! Our room smelled a little like sewer but we understand that the hotel is the middle of nowhere and it can happen. They provide air freshner and it workout great. We had to change our reservation and although it is impossible to reach them by phone they are very responsive to emails. Highly recommend!!!

The place was a bit hard to find in the dark, but place lovely, rooms were clean, (bed was a bit hard for my taste), food, drinks and dining room were Great. The view was awesome.

El mejor lugar para una escapada

The property is right on the gorgeous beach. However, the lounge chairs are in a very poor state and that is where you spend most of your time so they should really be renewed. Aside from that the property is great!

Paradise
Casa Cielo was better than I expected. And my expectations were high. The staff was really helpful, the location was great, the hotel was clean and pretty and with an amazing view of the beach. There were a lot of nice places around the hotel to chill out: a roof top terrace, balcony, lounge chairs and more. The only thing missing was a hammock. But all in all, as close to paradise as one can get. I can highly recommend Casa Cielo.

Frente al mar y cerca del centro de la ciudad.
Amplia habitación, muy cómoda cama y sábanas, baño muy amplio, dos lavabos, regadera con buena presión de agua, balcón con mesita y sillas, todo muy limpio, sin tv. La zona de alberca agradable para descansar y frente al mar. Ojo, no aceptan niños y eso no estaba muy claro en las indicaciones de hotels.com.

This hotel /casa is well located to the town and is on the beach. We found the food to be good and coffee was made first thing. The bed was great..and had great sleeps. Not usual to find a great bed. The hotel is boutique which we enjoy.

Ojo con lo que se ofrece
Todo estuvo muy bien e excepción de la información que aparece en su pagina, me ofrecieron una habitación con dos camas king size , terraza privada y vista al mar , y este hotel no cuenta conn ese tipo de habitaciones me tuvieron que dar una con una sola cama King size lo cual represento un problema para mi. La atencion y servicio del personal del hotel excelente.

El hotel está perfecto para poder descansar, la atención es buena. Solo hay 3 puntos, la alberca no estaba en uso porque la estaban limpiando. Les comenté que era mi cumpleaños y no hicieron nada especial, en otros hoteles que me hospedado siempre me han dado algún detalle (viajo cada año en estas fechas) como pastel, alguna bebida en cortesía etc. Ellos nada. Cuando quisimos por nuestra parte pedirlo no tenían. :/ Y también, como tal el desayuno no está incluido solo es pan y fruta. Deberían ponerlo como desayuno continental. No nos quisieron poner las amacas tampoco. La verdad la actitud del encargado súper rara. La del que nos recibió y nos despidió que era como el gerente muy bien. El hotel es súper bonito y bien cuidado, creo faltan los detalles del management. Tal vez por eso se considera un hotel de 3.5 estrellas. Es súper importante la atención al huesped. Los detalles son súper importantes para hacer un buen hotel. Pero el hotel como tal en cuanto a infraestructura súper bien.

This hotel is amazing for both its location and for the excellent service. This is highly recommended for total disconnection of the world. The food is awesome. Don't lose the chance to stay at the best place in El Cuyo with a very nice boutique hotel. Walters personal attention is basic for the wellbeing at Cielo.
