'The men's bathroom was two floors below our room. The mattress on my bed was worn out and I could feel metal springs on my back. On the plus side, the room had a good view, it was reasonably priced, and the manager refunded my money when the paid-for breakfast was not provided.'

'Lovely bed and breakfast on the water in Lochaline. Shaley and Peter were gracious and very informative both before and during our stay. Delicious cooked to order breakfast and immaculate spacious rooms. Ferry to mull is a short walk. Highly recommend especially if a nature lover'

'We made a last minute reservation and all went fine. The room was spotless clean and there was a very good shower. The bar is very authentic and both the dinner and breakfast were very good. We had a nice view on the lake.'

'This accommodation is very remote. But really nice. The rooms are large and clean with nice en-suite facilities and the dining room - in an extended sun room - is spacious and comfortable. Very well run by a lovely couple we enjoyed our stay. Take dinner here - it’s very good value and enjoyable.'
