'The cabin was exactly as pictured. Clean, ready to go. As a heads up, you do share the stairs down to the docks with the twin cabin that is next to you. Not a big deal for us at all. We were able to pull our boat up to the dock (launch is on Gunlock lake and you have a little, shallow, channel you'll need to go through to get to Shishebogama), which was super nice..'

'Check in & out was very simple. Inside of cabin very clean & kept nice. Outside could have been better kept, including the yard and lake access/beach area. The lake was disappointing; only offers bullheads, turtles, frogs, & leeches. It was very peaceful with beautiful weather. '

'This was a cabin which at that time had an outhouse (since upgraded). We thought the property was fantastic and very well equipped kitchen with many amenities (nice shower room, gas fireplace, fire pit with large supply of firewood, charcoal grill, canoe, raft to swim to, intestines, hammock, 2 docks). We had an incredible stay and hope to return next year. '

'This was a lovely get away from the city - about 4 hours from Chicago with an easy drive. It's a new to renting so we were one of the first renters. 'Kris’ cabin is lovely. The view from the living room is idyllic, especially at sunset. The cabin has been thoughtfully restored to give the classic northern WI feel. We’ve been coming to this area for decades and this cabin is one of our favorites. The beds and bedding were comfy, the pellet stove worked well on the chilly nights and the lake access is ideal. The WiFi streamed movies effortlessly on the smart TV. The owners are next door but the cabin is set up such that it feels really private....

'Our stay was perfect! For others browsing reviews, there is a hair dryer, toaster and some leftover spices, coffee, filters etc. The private boat ramp was SO nice!! Our family of 5 was able to spread out in each bed and not share. We had a rain day so we did a puzzle that was there. The kiddos played a board game. The only thing I thought of that I had forgotten was a deck of cards. We will plan a trip back to the cabin when we go back North!! Thank you!!!'
